Bev was bad again tonight but I feel the biggest reason they loss was Dmo. He's too important to this team right now to have such a bad game.

I knew this would be a tough one. It was the Rockets who seemed to fade, not the team coming off a back to back OT loss. Bad and costly loss for the Rockets. Bev has become a "pumpkin," Brewer went spastic late, and DMo and Ariza had subpar games. Harden can't do it all. And what happened to TJones.?

At least we didn't roll over and die! We lost but at least we didn't keep our heads down, we fought back and lost to the better team/coach for tonight.

On the bright side, 47 points from our backcourt. Deadly.

Why not blame Lauren Holtkamp? Harden only had 23 ft attempts tonight.

I hope now people will stop gushing over Patrick Beverly. The guy is nothing more than a 10-15 min backup pg in this league, and that's being generous.

Papanikalou and Canaan need to play so everything won't be focused on Harden. Those guys can playmake and create their own shot.

They didn't look ready to play tonight. That's on McHale. It's a pattern with this team and it's costing them important games.

That being said, yes Morey needs to get a real PG ASAP. And I'm sure he knows this. He probably kicks himself every day for missing out on Lowry last summer. But obviously the dilemma is who's available and what are the Rockets willing to give up in order to land a replacement for Bev?

Beverley is making me miss Jeremy Lin in a Rocket's uniform. That should tell you how bad he has been.

Portland was just too good. The missed free throws was a factor in the team losing. Harden, Smith and Brewer were great. Bad game for DMo. Some people are actually blaming the coach for the loss - seriously?!

Coach Mchale needs to bench both Dorsey and Beverley. Can't win playing 3 on 5. We also missed too many darn free throws. And someone already posted," Live by the three and you die by the three".

We wouldn't need another playmaker if we had an offense. I know people are tired of hearing that, but the offense thrives if our chucking is falling.

Well this game shows me that we have to get another scorer/playmaker in the rotation. When Harden is out we really struggle to keep up. Haden has to score and set everybody else up. That's asking too much of him for the rest of the season and playoffs. Real Contender's have at least two guys who are capable of making plays. I like our depth, but we need more scoring.

I had a bad feeling when Harden only got to sit for 2 minutes in the fourth. I think in that situation you have to trust your bench and give Harden the rest he needs to be strong at the end of the game. Harden and Smith played great tonight. The team missed to many free throws and shots at the rim. If I didn't know better I would have thought the Rockets were the team playing a back to back. Was glad to see them fight back from the big deficit. Wish they could have pulled out a win.

He was a solid starter last year. I think he averaged 9, 5, and 3 with 38% shooting. But he has fallen off a cliff. Trying to do too much.

If Bev has no defense now, why don't give Canna a try????

On offense, Canna >>>> Bev !!!

Harden hasn't locked up MVP to everybody yet?

This is no longer even close... all analyst who report other wise are jokes and don't deserve to be listened to about basketball

Can't really blame TJones after what he went through. Just be happy he is back on the court.

I blame McHale for not having the team ready and not making adjustments in the 2nd quarter when the Blazers were picking us apart with their passing. How many times did Robin Lopez get left wide open in the lane?

But it's on the players mostly. Bev continues to suck. D-Mo had a horrible night. Brewer wasn't very effective off the bench. And T-Jones was a virtual no-show.
