Well, Harden and Howard still needs to figure out how to play off each other. If it just take turns to ISO, not really.

 

Dwight is never going to be healthy again so stop saying if Dwight was here he is finished

 

I think I'd like Morey to hard sell Ray Allen onto the roster for the stretch run. Hope Ray's in shape. Give Harden the point officially.

 

It's all good. A win @POR March 11th nullifies this loss.

Morey needs to get Harden a second "star" player to take some of the offensive pressure on him. Howard isn't that offensive player since he has no offensive game. Until Harden gets an All-Star level offensive player, this team will continue to struggle and lose in the 1st round of playoffs.

 

Somebody gotta help James out. This just looks like terrible coaching once again.

 

I hope Beverley gets traded for somebody... I'm sick of him.

 

Morey has to do something about the PG position. I guess Canaan isn't gonna get any playing time, so our rotation is Bev and Terry and that ain't gonna get it done.

As for tonight, the Rockets gave the game away in the 2nd quarter. You can't spot the visiting team a 16-point lead and expect to have anything left in the tank by the 4th quarter. And you have to make plays. The game was pretty much summed up late in the 4th when D-Mo bricked yet another free throw(finishing an inexcusable 1-7 for the night) and then the ice cold Batum hit a contested buzzer beating 3. One team stepped up. The other one didn't.

I think outside of DMO's ft shooting we did fine.. We LOST because of some pretender starting PG. 2 POINTS. SRSLY?!

 

seems like portland's strategy is to outscore us everytime they play! how rude.

 

Well Dmo is quickly losing whatever faith I had in him with that performance. And Bevs...if he's gonna get burnt and can't fight over screens might as well start Canaan. At least he's a shooter

 

If you have that much faith in Dorsey to guard their 7fters, than yes! TJones was a no-show, hurt us even. DMo couldn't shoot nor rebound vs. them.

I thought though that small ball line-up where they got separation at the start of the 4th--Leonard hitting his jumpers. Because we could handle their starting unit.

It was the random guys McCollum, Leonard, Blake going off in the 2nd.

 

We really need another playmaker ...

 

Harden gave an MVP performance. Smoove played well and I don't know why he got taken out so early in the 4th. Ariza was great defensively.

Other than that, poor effort by everyone else. Dmo has to be better and make those free throws. He only had 1 rebound until halfway through the 4th. Jones did not look ready to play. Brewer had some nice hustle plays but he took some wild shots. And Bev was horrendous on both ends.
