Clippers are hard-capped, no? Not sure how far under they are. Only vet minimum to offer someone. Spoiler

I think I might have jinxed the Clippers. How are they cursed? They never suffer injuries at the same rate as the Rockets or Blazers, and they're almost always in the mix whenever veteran free agents hit the market. They're simply not built for extended playoff success, but I definitely would not call them cursed.
Clips are screwed for the hardest part of their schedule. @Dallas Houston San Antonio Sacramento Memphis Houston Memphis Bulls
They could conceivably drop out of the playoffs...unless Doc can juggle line-ups even half as well as McHale has for us.
Damn. I wanted to see if we could beat them full strength. Hopefully they get the 8 seed because they could feasibly knock off the Warriors round 1.
Yep. But I'll take any win I can get against the Dirty Clips. At this point the whole country wants to see a LAC GSW first round matchup. Now THAT'S a rivalry.
I don't understand how anyone is a "frontrunner" if its the Clipper, Mavs or any other contenders since the most they could offer would be the vet min. We were a frontrunner for Smoove because we had the Bi-Annual, among other factors. Either way, I'm not worried about anyone getting Amare. He can be a pretty good pick up but he is just too injury prone. Might be okay the next game then has to sit the next few.
If that's the case, I'd be cool with staying at the 3rd seed. They will probably drop to 7th come playoff time, and we always have had issues vs them over the last 3 seasons.
Sucks for the clippers. Blake is their best player. They didn't miss a beat last year when Blake led the team while Choke Paul was out.
The game at LA on Wednesday is unfortunately a B2B and 3rd game in 4 nights. The last time the Rockets were in that situation, they laid an egg against Detroit. It would be great to sweep the next 3 heading into the All-Star Break though. If that happens, and the Grizzlies lose at home to the Hawks tonight and at OKC on Wednesday, we'd be in 2nd place in the West heading into the break thanks to the tiebreaker.
