Houston in: Goran Dragic Houston out: Kostas Papanikolau, Alexy Shved, 2015 NOP pick Suns in: Arron Afflalo Suns out: Goran Dragic Nuggets in: Shved, Papa, 2015 NOP pick Nuggets out: Arron Afflalo
STOP IT WITH THE GORAN DRAGIC TRADE. HE'S NOT CUMIN I RESPECT HE IS NOT CUMIN. FIND another point guard & stop ddeaming.
If anything dragic is the most realistic 1. He's opting out next year 2.we have assets 3. Pheonix has two solid pgs 4. Pheonix may need a big trade to improve for players I just hope were in the mix
You seriously think the Suns would trade away Dragic for Arron Affalo? LOL If they did, the Nuggets would tell Houston to kick dirt and take Dragic for themselves.
I think Phoenix would do it bc they can run a lineup of bledso, thomas and afflalo as their 1-3(sf is their weakness)...Nuggets would do it for the expirings and picks its a win win for all parties....we have good assets just have to think realistically...Oan Schved cant be traded to Minnesota bc he was traded to Philly from there....(in regards to posters from yesterday who thinks Schved can be traded to Minnesota)
Our starting PG is at 12 PER.....GH is 22. He is doing something right....... If you dont think he could start over Pat your straight homer blind.
I would not trade Jones for the deal you are proposing. He can get back to the level that he was playing at the beginning of the season at the least, and probably more than that.
A 'washed up' George Hill is still better than Bev ... I would do that trade, no doubt. We need a 'starting' PG and a decent back-up C.
With the Howard news lets just add our 1st to this and try to make a push this season *--> hope to keep Ajinca in FA with a reasonably good contract--> hope Howard is healthy one day. *Shved and 2nd round pick ...for... Foye (to replace Terry's role) Buy second round pick and hope for Candler Parsons types again.
Rare Post From an Old Timer - Trade Idea http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mvp7fb7 Basically we work with Denver and OKC Rockets Acquire: Afflalo from Denver and Reggie Jackson from OKC OKC Acquire: Paps from Houston, Capela from Houston, Nick Johnson from Houston, and Arthur from Denver Nugs Acquire: Perkins from OKC, TJones from Houston, and NOP 1st Rounder Rationale: We clear minutes and acquire two playmaking guards. Yes we lose some of our "D-League" depth, but we shore up PG and Back up SG. We have a big man rotation that could be scary good if Howard comes back healthy, even without TJONES. I hate losing the pick, but it is time to win now and we see that the Beard is our only true playmaker in the backcourt. Let's add two... Nuggets get cap space in a year with Perkins, and a true up and comer with TJones. That pick is worth a lot! OKC gets Capela, Paps, and Johnson to groom on the cheap. Arthur is a salary dump. They dump Perkins and don't have to worry about losing Jackson in free agency (Beard 2.0 story). OKC is broke. Gas prices are killing this State and the owners of this team. They have invested in their stars and would pay to get rid of Perkins. Cheap Youth is what they are craving to surround those three studs. Just my imagination... This is my 29th post in 13 years, I don't try trades too much. D. Morey is pretty smart on his own!
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=kvbz6xw To Houston: John Henson, Goran Dragic To Phoenix: Ersan Ilaysova, Nick Johnson, Pelicans pick To Milwaukee: K-Pap, T-Jones, and Dorsey
Why would OKC give up Jackson for essentially nothing? If they got Afflalo your trade would make sense
OKC is BROKE Why did they trade Harden? They are a small market team in a State that is already feeling the squeeze of the low oil and gas prices. I live in OKC and understand their issues. They don't want to eat $7.5 million for a backup. Reggie Jackson wants to get paid next year as well. We take the opportunity to invest in either Jackson, Smith, etc. or still have flexibility to go and get a bigger free agent.
Pretty sure you're wrong. I think you can agree on the trade if the salaries work and then you have to decide to cut some peeps. And if the contracts are just included to match salaries then the team would have no problem cutting them. No one is acquiring Shved to help the team. Young teams would also probably release Terry.
No, you must waive a player first to create the open roster spot if you are at the maximum (15 players). There was a comment recently by BimaThug in the 'cyberx' thread that alluded to that: If you don't believe that, the CBA FAQ clearly states: Didn't we do this recently? Example: When the Rockets acquired Shved, Francisco Garcia was waived.
Yes. Technically you're right. But teams agree on trades even when they have too many players all the time. They just decide who to cut before making it official.
Curious who you guys think says no: Minny out: Dieng. Kevin Martin. Budinger. Mo Williams Minny in: Canaan. Kpap. Terry. Capela. Plumlee. Phoenix out: Dragic. Plumlee. Phoenix in: Mo Williams. Joey Dorsey. Shved. Nick Johnson. NOP pick. And either our best 2nd rounder or rights to a euro player Houston out: Kpap. Terry. Canaan. Capela. Shved. Nick Johnson. NOP pick and another pick Houston in: Dragic. Kevin Martin. Dieng. Budinger. Minnesota: Loses Dieng but clears a lot of cap space and tries to build on Capela, Canaan and Plumlees potential (who are all young and cheap) Phoenix: surrenders Dragic, will have to eat a year of Dorsey's contract and cut Shved but get Mo Williams who could contribute for the playoff run and get nicks potential and picks Houston: take on some bad contracts. But not crippling and would address every last need. Upgrade playmaker at PG. scorer off bench. And 7foot rim protector.
