Maybe he's trying to prove something since Klay & Thompson are in it. Everyone here knows that when beard is trying to prove something he excels at it.
Well he shot 43% from downtown in January on 6.7 attempts per game - so his current form is kind of hot!
Maybe he can get Jimmy Butler to defend him during the contest. After last night....he's sure to win it.
This is very interesting...quietly...James gonna show case his shooting prowess??? vs Curry? Irving? Thompson?
I guess it's a no-lose situation for Harden. Everyone on the planet already thinks of Curry and Klay as far better shooters, so it's not like his image will be hurt if he loses.
I think it's cool that he's kind of proactively campaigning & putting himself out there. This should be fun.

That's awesome. Just in case, someone should mention it's only from behind the arc, and even if it weren't, he still won't get the calls he needs to convert buckets in the paint with the and1's for 3 the hardenway, even though it's just an exhibition contest.
So he's diving in with Korver, Thompson, Curry and JJ Redick? The Beard is great and all but it sure seems like he's looking to climb a mountain here...
