I am chill I just asked a question. Are you chill? Funny how this thread blew up after I asked that one question, lol.
Im sure i will never agree with LosPollosHermanos since most of his fav posters in his sig are on my ignore list lol.
So both Lillard and Aldridge just happened to be hot against us but they both "Cooled off" just in time to play the Spurs. How convenient for the Spurs, lol.
Too late That is what I mean----too late adjustment. Considering TJ's weight and height compared to LMA, Mchale should have made adjustment after LMA scored 40+. We can't give him two games to react and adjust especially in the playoffs.
Ah i see, weather a player makes shots or not is entirely dependent on the other teams coach. Damn why doesnt Morey know this, with Mchale as our coach players will never miss against us.
Everytime Harden goes into godmode and destroys teams its the other coaches fault. Its not Harden, its the other coach.
Lillard's frustration showed after the loss, but another emotion was there in equal measure: flat-out amazement. Again and again in the Moda Center locker room, he praised the Spurs' trust and reliability, which have been developed under coach Gregg Popovich and future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan during a run of title contention that hasn't let up for nearly as long as the 23-year-old Lillard has been alive. "They're a well-oiled machine," he said. "They're constantly moving, making good passes, defending really well. Everything is just flowing for them. It's like they've seen this movie before." In Portland's first-round series against the Rockets, Lillard averaged 25.5 points per game on 47.8 percent shooting. But the Spurs haven't let him get anything easy. He's averaging 19 points per game and shooting 37.5 percent from the field against San Antonio. "Everything I do, they're crowding the area," Lillard said of his struggles against the Spurs. "It's not easy to pull up for a jumper with a lot of guys there, get to the rim with a lot of guys there. They're tough. They're crowding the space a lot more than they were in the regular season." The Blazers split their regular-season series with the Spurs 2-2, which led most talking heads and media members (yours truly included) to believe Portland could give San Antonio a series more competitive than this bloodbath.
Is your sig really comparing the impact of coaching in the NFL to the NBA. No wonder you beleive what you do.
LMA was hitting that mid range shot throughout that entire series Los. And whenever Asik , Jones and Dwight would run out there, he would drive. Dude had one bad game and that was game 5. In game 3 he scored 29 points, 23 points in game 4 and 30 points in game 6. Another thing the entire team played horrible defense.
Come on dude that pretty much the same question. The Spurs as a team played better defense than the Rockets did against them.
Hakeem Olajuwan and Michael Jordan are the only two people I would give "Godmode" to. Harden is great though.
When you start relying on semantics, that when you realize you don't have a leg to stand. It's just arguing for arguments sake. There is no point of going round and round with you. You don't even know what you are saying at this point you will just say anything opposite of what anyone who doesn't like Mchale says.
Our defense was shaky before we got into the playoffs. Especially when our defensive coach left. McHale is not a defensive minded coach and we all knew that when he was acquired by Morey n Co.
We've been in agreement before lol. My thing is Morey doesn't want a coach who doesn't by into his offensive philosophy. Not too many coaches would allow Morey to change up their lineup as much as he does. Do you think Pop would allow Morey to change up his lineup every year , lol shots twice a year?
I think if Pop knew the direction that Morey was going in he would understand. I believe the same thing happened with Adelman, Morey explained himself and Adleman backed off the roster control thing. The final thing was about Adelman finding a successor which he refused because he wanted someone from his staff to do it. I beleive their are coaches who understand and know the analytic's of the Rockets but can do a better job of coaching. I think Mchale should be an assistant coach for big men he is not a prime time type of guy. Mchale is Mayberry and Popp is like Gotham City ya know.
