Those 1st two game in which LMA went off nobody on this team could guard him. Dude was hitting fade away 3 pointers falling to the ground and one. Lol that joker was sizzling hot .

Yeah that buzzer beater by Lillard still gives a brother the blues.

I've said this before, that's on Morey. He hand picked Mchale and gave him this 3 year extension. Morey philosophy doesn't measure up to highly experienced HOF veteran coaches. That's why I think Rick was released. McHale is doing exactly what Morey wants him to do.

And I guess you didn't read my last sentence huh. Or when I said I'm not comparing them. How bout when Tracy got hot on the Spurs. Or how about when Sleepy Floyd went off 29 points in a quarter.

That's what the hell I'm talking about. When a player is hot there is nothing you can do about it period.

Is it so hard to understand players can get hot and then cool off? For such simple mided fools i guess it is.

    LMAO.

    Yes.

A player repeatedly going off is him just getting hot. And when he plays bad against the next team...he's just cold.

The next time someone plays poor D, I'll just put it on them "being hot".

Aldridge was hitting crazy contested shots time after time, im not sure how that is Mchales fault. You guys will just use anything you can to discredit him.

    Not like that

If we don't have a good defender, I am fine with his 2 (or more) game's super hotness. If we have a proven good defender, I am still fine with his one game's super hotness. After all he is a star player. But I am not fine with his super hotness in two games in a row with two good defensive centers in our team.

At some point you just have to say their players outplayed our players. Howard was the only player who stepped his game up for us. With your best player (Harden) and most of your role players are playing under their normal expectations there is nothing you can do. But dont let that get in the way of your wanting to blame Mchale for everything.

So when Sleepy Floyd went off on the Lakers for 29 points in a quarter isn't consider hot? Lol

Yes of course you can say bad defense.

After the Spurs series Dream didn't score 40 points a game either.
And LMA went off for 40 + in the first 2 games in that series. He wasn't sizzling the entire series.

McHale made the adjustment in the 3rd game correct. The thing is nobody expected LMA repeat what he did in the first game.

    And how could you?

It was the craziest thing I've ever seen on a basketball court.

    Hakeem Re-incarnated for two games.

Thats his game, how long have you seen Aldridge play? Are you actually trying to defend not doubling him the first two games?
I'm not talking about one quarter, I'm talking about a 7 game series. Hakeem was a great, and he did get hot that series, but it was clear to anybody who was watching that there was no way to stop him. When you have Terrence Jones on LMA, or Asik creeping in the post giving LMA midrange jumpers he can drain like layups...this shouldn't even be a question. Context is everything.
