LOL I just always assumed from the get go that cyberx worked for an agency. Is there any chance at all really that with his record of hits he doesn't have a connection? And is there really any chance at all that those leaks haven't been controlled by an agency? To believe at this point that it's still possible for a person in that position to get away with clandestine leaks for years on end is.. absurd.

Tool. But I am totally OK with that.

Compare Brandon Kight's game to Eric Bledsoe and Monta Ellis. They seem similar.

I personally havent seen a lot of BK's gsme, but did watch some youtube clips. Other than not being a top tier passer, his game seemed like it would be a good fit next to Harden or with Harden on the bench.

Mentioning something in the fashion you just stated it is different than how you stated it before. I don't doubt the Rockets just want Dwight to play D and rebound like a mad man. I also believe they don't want to emphasize his post game either cause it sucks.

Morey probably said something to the effect of....if Dwight played in the same style as Deandre then we would win it all. That statement makes a lot of sense.

If the Rockets could do this trade

Knight, Henson, Ersan FOR NOP 1st, KPap, Terry, Shved, Tjones

    The lineup would look like

    Knight / Beverley / Canaan
    Harden / Johnson
    Ariza / Brewer
DMo / Josh Smith / Ersan
    Howard / Henson / Dorsey / Capella

That would leave 1 roster spot open.

Financial. RFA Knight on a small market team watching finances ( Middleton is an RFA too and they love him. Ersans salary. Sanders salary. Focusing on growth of Gannis and Parker). This is like the Harden/OKC situation.

Bucks like Knight. But are afraid to pay a huge RFA payday in the market. And Middleton will also be RFA.

Bucks would want to move Knight for assets instead of losing him or overpaying him big open market bucks.

First, trade is impossible due to Alexey.

    Second, Knight > Shved

    Third, Knight> Shved, Terry

Fourth, Knight > Shved, Terry AND Kostas

5th, Knight is probablllly worth 10-14 in the 2015 draft

Terrible trade is terrible for the Bucks

If Dwight played like DJ I'd believe, if Dwight was replaced by DJ, not so much, teams don't take DJ seriously on offense, and we already have enough teams ignoring everyone but Harden when Dwight is out.

Jordan would be nothing without Paul. Dwight is much much better than him and if/when he leaves the Clippers he's going to be exposed badly.
But he's going to get the max and Rivers is quite possibly the worst GM right now besides King. Clippers will be pretenders for years with him making FO decisions.

hey Deuce. I know this is the homer trade thread but just so you know Milwaukee can't take back 4 players because we don't have roster spots and we wouldn't be interested at all in Shved or Terry(well for Terry I can't be sure coz of Kidd). We would definitely ask back for Capella though and picks. Btw Ersan's last year contract is only 400k guaranteed.
Last night Knight had his first DNP of the season. Surprise surprise Giannis was majestic and Middleton had a season high and we beat the Craptors with only 5 NBA players 37 y.o K-Mart's corpse and a D-Leaguer. I hope we trade him to the ROX. Much better fit there and Morey will pay him. I feel he's hurting our young players tbh.

imo this is the year to go all in. It's an open race and there is no clear contender. The Warriors are one Bogut injury away from falling and they rely way too much on jumpshots.
If Denver doesn't decide to pull the trigger on Lawson Knight may be the best available choice. Plus his defence is tons better he doesn't have constant ankle injuries like Ty and he can provide instant scoring.

I would expect they'd ask for more...

Knight, Henson FOR NOP 1st, TJones, Capela, Canaan, Shved, 1.5M Cash

    Lineup

    Knight / Beverley / Terry
    Harden / Johnson
    Ariza / Brewer / KPap
    DMo / Josh Smith
    Howard / Henson / Dorsey

The cash is to pay for a cut player's salary. Shved has to be included for salary matching purposes.

Wait.... how do you even know who Capella is? Furthermore, you view him as an asset that could make or break a deal for Knight?

Who is your daddy and what does he do?

I know who Capella is because I also follow the Rockets. When your team plays in the East that's what you end up doing -following a Western team too to watch some nice bball. Capella isn't a deal breaker but it's certain he would be on the desired package. Shved Terry Johnson would be of no use especially since there are no roster spots available. Milwaukee is rebuilding and has the time and patience to develop someone like Capella who is two years away from being two years away and should have stayed in Europe for a couple more years. Do Rockets have?
Anyway :) I don't try to fight just to drop a bit of info in case someone is interested to make more informed trade proposals but if you want to carry on the homeristic ones carry on. ;)

Thanks and I dont. At least in that simplistic context.

    Either Cyberx is -

-A fly on the wall (ala Arya as the cup bearer to Tywin in GOT)
-Someone who works directly with Morey (agency or in org)
-or a guy who knows someone 3 or 4 degrees from someone in an agency or something like that and has beers with him every once in awhile

If it's one of the first two, if Morey really does read CF, he could probably start to put two and two together to eventually figure out who is letting the cat out of the bag. If that's the case, it boggles my mind that he's not a little more careful. You'd rarely see people risk their jobs over entertaining an Internet board.

If it's the 3rd one, he probably shouldn't be speaking as if he's in the room and should probably disclaim that this is heresay. But it's Clutchfans so we are allowed to give him benefit of the doubt if he provides entertainment... Which he does I suppose.

Morey might have been speaking out of frustration; someone might have twisted his words or added to them.

You ever play that game back in school where each row gets something to read, he or she repeats it to the person behind them, and so on to the last person? Here you might even have a case of that.

Morey: "Man, that DJ is a beast. I could win some games with that guy."

(Later, someone repeating) "Morey said he wished he had DJ."

    "What? Instead-a DH?"

    (Shrug) "I guess so."

(Person re-telling the story) "Morey wishes he had DJ instead-a DH...."

I agree completely. I appreciate everything cyber has told us but I don't know it's just not adding up. If he really is telling the truth he knows too much for Morey to not know either, a. who it's coming from or b. try to put a hault to it.

Why can't you idiots shut up and listen? Don't speculate on who cyberx is and scare him off. What he contributes to this BBS is so much more important than the hand-wringing over his identity.

But "scare him off" is how it works here. See also "Jones, Batman"; "Rocket, Doc"; "Man, Plow".
