Derrick Rose standing on ice shoveling in sneakers is unsettling . Pay somebody to do that and get back in your safe room, Rose . Is that Tom Thibodeaux in the background, who apparently doesn't own a jacket?
If we play serious, we have more than a fighting chance to beat the Bulls. This Bulls team lost to the Lakers last week so they are prone to the same mental lapses we have been going through. We must take the fight to them. Start fast and build lead. D-Mo has to make Noah his B and Harden must be a MVP. Ariza, Bev, Terry, Brewer have to hit their threes and everyone must contribute to get rebounds. We got this.
At least this time if there's a massive free throw disparity in favor of the Bulls, the crowd will be riding the refs til they give the Rockets a few calls. And then the crowd will give them some mock applause.
I think Brewer should start instead of Ariza. He has shown some ability to put the ball on the floor, drive and pass in the open court. He is playing with more confidence than him. Ariza is a better defender, but Brewer isn't bad on that end either. I hope Canaan will regain confidence in his outside shot. He does need to play defense, even if he isn't shooting well. All of our players need to step up, on defense and on the boards. Defense can generate offense. The Rockets can win if they believe in themselves. GO HOUSTON GO!
The key to this game is playing fast. On 790 this morning, Joel Blank was talking about the team was taking their three day break to focus on increasing the tempo. It would be nice to see the team play like they did in McHale's first season (fast with alot of passing).
We had better personal for that at least in the starting line up during Harden's first year here. Our bench does have some good fast break players in Brewer, Smith and T Jones, but at least in the starting unit, Ariza is no where near Parson's level at the fast break and Lin is definitely a better fast break player than Bev. In all honesty the Rocket's tempo will never match Mchale's first few seasons here as we need a better pg.

We should've beaten them last time but the refs gave them the game late. Should be a easy win, we have the best player in the league.
