What a up and down few minutes here for UT, biggest need addressed but loose out on Mack (for today, probably will change is mind tomorrow). Long run you'd rather have a QB than Mack IMO.

I'm seeing rumors that Boyd might be wavering a little bit (247Sports). I think Mack would have been huge. Anything could happen still just because of the oddness of this recruiting cycle - something like 15 recruits have decommitted from Texas (and it's happening across the country) - so I'm not giving up hope. However, it might be most vital for Texas to mine the grad transfer market and find a QB like Hogan of Stanford or Golson of Notre Dame to come in immediately.

 

What about someone like Jake Hubenak from Blinn?

 

I'd wait and see with Soso and Mack. Until these guys have actually signed LOI, nothing is for certain.

Yeah I don't know who that guy is. Hopefully true though. It's fun fighting over recruits. And when we lose them they go to a different conference so it doesn't sting as much.

 

I think Mack would have gone to UT if Murray defected. Oh well.

It's getting better. Could be pretty mean next year though with Mack. LB still a concern. Maybe we get Smith though, that would help a ton. Think he's UCLA bound though.
