hard to feel sorry for the hawks when they "threw the game away".

I just have to disagree. I am pretty sure Butler will get his moment of fame. I am also sure that if Butler pull that against Wilson again, 9 out 10 times Wilson will get TD over him.

Do you see the picture where Butler is good 5 yard away from the receiver? The receiver is WIDE open through the whole route until the goal line.

Yes, Butler watch the tape and bet on Seattle's tendency. But it is not like modern day QB are like robot and have to throw to exactly the same place.

Just a little better ball placement, it would had been a Seattle TD. Or just throw the ball away.

Note, I am not arguing whether this is a good play call or bad play call. I am saying this was not a great defensive play and 9 out 10 times Wilson would have make the correct decision.

I guess "a" would be a closer reasoning than "e". thanks.

still too much room for subjectivity though, imo. rules are basically saying that you can maul a receiver as long as it's in the motion of attempting to make a play on the ball. there's no way that's how officials call it. a large % of PI's are called when, by that rule, they really shouldn't be.

Man, it was just an unreal Super Bowl victory for us.
Was only a momentary reaction. Literally 4 secs later...

    What position did you play?

Sorry yeah yeah I know fans can consider the team a "we" and "us" situation. I just still don't like it and like to rib fans about it.

Anyway, nice victory for Pats fans. Add another trophy to the already full trophy cabinet in Beantown. Blah.

Cant imagine what the Seattle fans are going through right now...

-Lidge blowing it vs the Cardinals
-Stockton hitting that 3 in 1997
    -Yao/TMac injuries

Thats all i could compare it too.

Kudos to the young man on the interception, but that game was lost on an absurd play call, given the situation, the miracle catch that set you up in the redzone and the running back. I think we might have witnessed the most boneheaded coaching decision of all time. Even if he caught the ball for the TD i think your still tugging on your collar.

Katy Perry probably would have given the ball to Lynch one more time at least.
