Similar talent. Gronk would be the best either of them played with.

Right and had the Giants not had fortune at the end of one or both of their SB victories, we would be talking about 5-6 Titles. Brady now has 4 game winning drives in the SB, 2 more than anyone else.

Hard to say "best" as I still there is something to be said about never losing in the SB (Montana), but have to say Brady is at least the best since Montana.

Welp, at least the Manning v. Brady arguments are pretty dumb right now.

Exactly, this era is QB heaven. Still took Brady 6 SB to surpass Montana numbers which he got in 4.

Montana won 4 for 4 thats great. But the other 2 years he lost in the earlier rounds, where brady lost in the SB. It's worse to lose in the SB? Not a good argument

This is the stupidest argument I ever hear.

Losing early is better than getting farther and losing late, that makes no sense.

    1. The list of great QB's might be long but the list for who is the greatest at the moment only contains two names- Brady and Montana. An argument can be made for Montana but the argument for Brady is still stronger.
    2. Not sure which Pats fans were calling for his retirement but I'm sure the fairweather fans of EVERY team in the league hate on the teams QB after a loss or losses. Brady wouldn't be the first. Not sure how getting benched during basically what turned out to be a meaningless regular season loss (since they still went on to finish off the season w/home field throughout) diminishes his greatness overall.

Lol similar talent as to what Elway had offensively? You're joking sir.
You've heard of Terrell Davis and what he did during Elway's two SB winning seasons right?
Have you never heard of Rod Smith?

Lastly, to say Gronk is the best talent either Elway or Brady played with is lol worthy at the moment. Gronk is on his way to becoming a HOF candidate tight end and is almost uncoverable. Shannon Sharpe was the same and Shannon Sharpe was in his prime with Elway. Sharpe was also healthy during Elway's two super Bowls. Sharpe was an absolute beast.
Gronk is on his way to that but right now Davis + Smith +Sharpe offensively still beats whatever combination Brady has ever had in all his 4 SB winning seasons.

It's just hard for me to anoint Brady and that organization goat. Call me a hater or whatever. Kind of like Bonds not really being the home run leader of all time because of PEDs. That organization is just too sneaky to give full credit to. Brady is an all time great, but the legacy of he and that organization has a little tarnish on it I feel. Whatever.

I don't know if he's the GOAT, but he's definitely the best QB of this generation.

I don't like Bellichek, that they cheated, and Kraft kind of rubs me the wrong way. Also Being from where they are, the whole fanbase is annoying in a way that only canvases from there and LA can be.

Those issues aside I have no problem with Brady and yes he is unquestionably greatest of his generation and I'd say of all time but won't argue really hard about a couple other greats. I'd rank him #1 though.

If he is the greatest QB of all time is he then also the greatest NFL player ever?

Elway went to three Super Bowls without any of those players. He had guys like Ricky Nattiel and Sammy Winder. Mkay. Maybe you were born in the 90's or something.

Chief,my birth certificate doesn't give the 90s as a birth year so I'm good.
Did you miss the two Super Bowls Elway won? Are we not also comparing the Super Bowls both QBs won?
The two Super Bowls Brady lost, who did he have offensively?

Unless they are corrected for era it is irrelevant.
I like how we pretend Brady hasn't had HOFers. Is there a special section of the HOF I don't know about?
