Nope, he had a path to the ball and took it.

Why did belicheck just let the clock run. To me the pats were very lucky to win that game. If a team is on the 1 yard line with the go ahead score, what strategy tells Bill he should let the clock run?

That ending is stunning for what happened but Bill didn't make a winning call, because he was about to leave his team no options to send the game into overtime.

Nope....it was not. DB has the right to go for the ball. He beat the WR to the spot.

Also, isn't the play caller Bevell(sp) and not Carroll?

I think they overinflated Wilson's head.

I thought they may just let Wilson try to run it in. He's s pretty good runner himself. Never even thought for a second they would pass.

He had a better qb rating than tom Brady.

I wonder how the Seahawk fanbase is reacting now. That will haunt them, but the team is still young and Wilson will be back in the big game.

But that play... Equivalent to the Rockets making a comeback in Game 7 of the NBA Finals and Harden has been fire in the clutch but McHale calls a Bev/Ariza iso to end the game.

I'm pretty sure McHale would have made a better decision there than Carroll.

That's not how it works. Brady was facing a historic defense, and had to jack it up 50+ times.

Prior the last drive, Wilson threw freaking 13 times. He didn't get his first complete reception until the 2nd quarter. He's a great game manager.

I agree that Patriots should have allowed the score, but sometimes hoping that the other team makes the dumbest decision in SB history works out for you.
