This is why you are an arm chair GM . Morey is not losing in a trade. You are giving up too much. Lol
I don’t see a fit with Milwaukee unless Larry Sanders is involved. Which would actually be really, really interesting depending on how much Morey wants to gamble on him.
Milwaukee is going to make the playoffs, so they aren't going to be thinking of doing anything that just gives up on the season. Can't see how we are a good trading partner. Surely what we are looking to do is move a PF for a PG? But I don't see how their backups fill our needs (can't see why they would move Knight?)
that's a steal on our part though.. you over value our players. Knight and Henson are proven players who are young. Both younger than our James Harden. Knight is almost the perfect fit with Harden as he can handle the ball and knock down the three. He can score on his own too. Henson is a big guy who can play defense and grab rebounds. A good back up for Dwight. Meanwhile only Jones is proven. Canaan still needs to be developed. Kostas is very expendable and very easy to replace. Especially in positions we need(such as center and point guard.) Kostas just isn't that great. Honestly, any trade for Knight and Henson would probably ask for Canaan, Jones, Kostas, Johnson/Capella, and the Pelicans pick
I would pay NOP Pick+NY pick+Capela+Pap+Schved without blinking and I would probably put Jones if there if I had to. We need someone like Knight badly. Soon.
why would Milwaukee give up two key players when they are in the playoffs hunt? That would be very dumb on their part. Another thing chemistry is very important, so why would Morey tamper with the rotation when we are clearly struggling with chemistry right now. The West is too deep for all that right now big timer.
Talent trumps chemistry. The Rockets need D at the 5 with Dwight out for a month. Henson fills the role.
Since when? How many times have you seen teams loaded with talent and don't win jack turkey ****? I can give you a lot of examples. But I will give you one: Seattle verses Denver . Seattle was loaded with talent, had the best record in the NBA and lost in the 1st round. That team was loaded every year during that era and what does they have to show for it. That's right , Nathaniel= Nothing.
Whenever I hear Brandon Knight brought up, I quickly think about 3 highlights... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fh0AQw3WFkE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TBJLKexMWqg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mr_WjR6iaj4
To me, the first two are more impressive than embarrassing. There aren't many point guards who would try and bang with Nikola Pekovic or try to challenge Jordan 2 feet from the basket. It shows intestinal fortitude. The third, granted, isn't pretty, but you don't fall down like that if you aren't putting in the effort to defend. In fact, to me that Pekovic video should be an easy call against Pekovic.
Dallas and the #8 seeded Warriors. #6 seeded Rockets against the very talented Phoenix. Lol come on man I can go own and own. Chemistry is very important in basketball period.
