I would agree that the 3 is preferable, but the more places a player can score reliably from, the better.

He already ran into it a couple of weeks ago. I'd argue he just broke out of it a couple of games ago.

You do realize that Joey played 12 minutes to Drummond's 33?

Didn't Morey want to draft Drummond that one year?

    Nailed it.

We still have the curious case of DMo. He is a valuable front court player. He is till getting better and seems to be driven to get even better. He will probably never be a great rebounder or typical "big man", but he is not a small forward either. I agree he neds a rugged bigman to complement him. I'm not sure who we can compare him, too.

Who? I am at a loss. Vlade Divac? Who?

As far as Harden goes, he and DMO are playing increasingly beautifully together.

just watched this mix. And a lot of DMo moves are definitely from Hakeem. Seems like Hakeem been teaching DMo a lot.

Boy, that sure looks like the right-handed mirror of DMo for sure.

Right? At times it seems almost uncanny. He's really similar to Nikola.

For those who don't know, Nikola Vujcic (croatian) is one of the greatest Euroleague players ever (2x champion):

I love Motiejunas. I hope the Rockets make a bigger priority out of getting him the ball on the block. Every single player on this team would be better for it.

Vujicic is the guy on the Raptors right? He sure doesn't look like it in that video though.

You might be mistaking him for Nikola Vucevic from Orlando. Completely different people. Nikola Vujcic never played in the NBA.

Now that DMo’s able to score in volume, I pretty much have no more issues with him anymore. He is getting pretty close to untouchable territory now for me.

Exactly. I just do not understand how we do not constantly and consistently post Donuts when Harden is out of the game, hell, in any half-court situation really. Keep posting him until the double team comes.

The Rockets would have one of the very best offenses in the league, in the regular season and in the playoffs.

I am so frustrated in our management, but specifically our coaching staff. We have one of the most talented scoring, two-way bigs in the NBA, and we refuse to give him the respect and the shot attempts that he deserves. Other teams are thankfully reaping the benefits.

Trevor Ariza and Patrick Beverley are PERFECT players for a feed the post system. Teach them to feed the post and spread the floor, SO EASY IF YOU MAKE IT A PRIORITY.

As someone who has watched the Rockets ignore Yao in the post way too much for nearly his entire career, I've come to accept that post-ups is simply a lot more complicated than it appears on TV. That's it's just not that easy.

Absolutely. Going to the post is an art.

It can be done If we work at it. (What else are we going to get Ariza and Beverley to do?)
