People keeps yelling about Canaan, but our other athletic young guard is doing well in the DLeague-- producing about as well as Canaan did in his "rehab stint" with the Vipers.

Perhaps the young team member with upside that we should be petitioning to bring up and put in to games is Nick Johnson.

I think our Johnson's upside is sitting lower than Canaanballs

He is better at finishing and defense though.

I agree - insert Johnson into a backup slot and watch the Rockets come alive....

Parsons and Beverley are two other good examples of this.

I don't see why you can't play with Johnson and Canaanballs together

Kevin won't let Johnson come up. Only in spurts. Besides i still rather see what Canaan is made of.

Actually here's a question - do you think the Rockets prefer Johnson in the 1 slot or the 2 slot (or maybe both)?

I think very highly of Johnson and think he can be a big part of our team in the future. But he needs to learn and be comfortable of playing point guard. I remember times where he was struggling to even bring the ball up, much less make point guard decisions. That's why he is in the D-League right now.

This team needs a point guard. A Dragic/Lawson would be nice but any capable point guard is an upgrade at this point. DJ freaking Augustin lit us up for 28 and 12 yesterday, while our point guards combined for 10 points and 0 assist (all Beverley).

I think right now hes better at SG, but ultimately i think Rockets would prefer him being a PG. 6'3 is kinda on the short side for SG. I mean Harden is like 6'5, but he seems pretty average in height for SG.

So you prefer bigger size in the 2 slot?

    Parsons was 23.

He also started a 20 year old Kevin Love as a rookie.
