Detroit had countless easy Layups. No way we lose this with Dwight on board...

Josh Smith missed an opportunity to "stick it" to his old team. Cannon missed everything. The team missed Howard. No one would miss Dorsey if he went back to Europe or went anywhere.

The Pistons put on a layup clinic in the first half and their scrubs went for career nights

I think he bumped knees; didn't get a full report. Said he was ready to play.

We did not do good job defensively in any area. They came out and kicked our tail. Couldn't handle Augustin in any action. They played harder than we did.

Can't assume that. That's an unknown...iF he was playing would he have been a "no show" like the rest of the team for 3 quarters. He's missed half as many games as he's played AND there have been nights when he did play where his play wasn't inspiring.

He is what he is, a spark plug of the bench that can supply points. Defensively, he has his issues but he's been known to bring teams back when they need points.

Harden was passive at the beginning, and our bigs were overmatched against their bigs. Pistons kept running away from us. Rotation was too slow. Compound that with refs calling touch fouls on us and Pistons getting away with a lot of strips and hacking.

Good sign that we fought till the end. Our defense adjusted by going into small ball. Trev slowed down DJ. Kpap helped us with 2 3s. We win if we get points in the paint (Motie check) and 3s (3s tonight below-average) or solid defense (defense missing except for 8 min in the 4th).

We still need a playmaking PG, a solid 3pt shooter, and a rim protector bigger than Josh Smith.

Dragic, Lawson, Williams, or Rubio which one of these PGs would be the ideal fit for the Rockets?

I doubt Howard could have helped. The bigs had to stay with their assignments Monroe and Drummond.

The perimeter guys need to do a better job switching on the screens. They kept getting free from screen after screen after screen. Maybe we should have tried a floating zone.

This drives me crazy as well. When the games were on Comcast Sports Net League Pass aired the post game, but since the switch to Root Sports they always black it out. I've contacted Directv twice and no one can give me a straight answer why the post game is blacked out. I can watch the pre and post game for every other team in the NBA except for the Rockets.

I have really liked Brewer's play but he was a step behind all night as were some others. I applaud James for gutting it out...there are a lot of Superstars who would have sat out the 2nd half but not him. That's some real heart IMO.
