What we are really seeing in Donatas is confidence and fruits of hardwork in practice/off the court. Donatas has really put the organization in a bind, its very hard to have a highly skilled post player in today's NBA. He is part of a dying breed of big men. The Rockets will have to choose between DMo and TJones relatively soon. The one thing I have to say is that DMo has been very consistent with his production. He plays terrific team defense, and hedges very well on the perimeter against guards on pick and rolls. DMo rebounds adequately, but his offensive production has been consistent and pleasant surprise(much more than TJones). This is going to be a hard decision for the Rockets, but DMo's value has skyrocketed this season as his hardwork is reaping its benefits.

This is really a game-changer for us that I have been hoping for, if he keeps it up. The thing is, you can't close out on a seven footer 3pt shooter with a guard. You need to have your big run at him, which brings all types of distress to the defense. If he can keep up the percentage and increase the volume, this makes our team a nightmare to defend.

No doubt you are correct, but his progress is at least somewhat encouraging. He has been able to come back after a few disappointing games.
The same thing goes for Jones as well, for example. I would love to see D-Mo and Jones make a big jump in the playoffs.

DMO should not be traded. He continues to get better and better, and with Howard's issues, again we need to hang on to him (IMO).

That putback dunk after Harden's miss was Parsons-esque.

The guy that should be traded is Dwight, in the past we have kept Dwight because of his defense, but now with Josh Smith I think our defense can handle moving Dwight. On offense this team is so much more free flowing because they still have post players but they don't have to stop the ball to feed Dwight in the post. Also it seems James's playmaking is better when not out there with Dwight. We can absorb James having a bad night offensivley because everyone is threat, which is how it should be. I can envision a frontline of Dmo and Josh and TJ coming of the bench.

Getting D12 Healthy and moving him for a starting PG should be priority. Hope D12 doesn't pull a T-Mac and need Micro Fracture Surgery. We could absorb it because we have so much talent but it could be a bad paper weight as far as keeping both DMO and TJ when it's time to reup.

Dwight is a superstar though. I doubt Morey would have the audacity to move him.

One more thing. Guys did you notice DMo constantly checking his wrist lately? What's up with that?

What if we traded Howard for a good PG (e.g. Dragic, Lawson) plus some other assets?

This. This would be selling low, we wouldn't get fair value for him.

Dwight ain't no damn Superstar! Get that **** out of here man. He's not even consider top 10 overall. Smh. If he was playing like he was in the Portland series then yea but hell no, not lately and definitely not this season.

He was ranked 10th in NBArank, so yea people considered him top 10 overall, clearly he has declined majorly this season due to injury, TMac part 2.

Serious question: at what point and/or what would the rox organization have to go through in order to trade dwight without getting PR backlash from media or other players? I'm not on the trade dwight bandwagon just yet but if he doesn't improve we might be looking at another tmac situation.

He's only been with the team for 1.5 seasons but if he can't stay healthy or isn't willing to adjust his game by the end of this season, a trade starts to look like a legit an acceptable option.
