Man, Texans make me so embarrassed sometimes. Aside from being a politically idiotic position, it's just plain rude. I think the protocol of southern hospitality requires you to be nice to people's face even if you talk bad about them behind their backs.

The great part is that she ordered her staff to do it for her and then ran away so she herself didn't have to look a kid in the face while accusing him of abetting terrorists -- she's using staff to troll instead of the internet.

Central Texas, near Temple and Killeen.

You make a good point, but... why doesn't she ask Catholic or just any Christians to renounce to those types of terrorists, also?

That whole thing about Israel is just pointless... as geeimsobored pointed out.

fwiw....Belton is along I-35 in the Hill Country adjacent to Fort Hood. Bell County covers Belton, Temple, Killeen and half of Ft Hood.

For those of us routinely dealing with legislators and their staff, I can assure you the level of this woman's idiocy is closer to the norm than an aberration.

California, Texas and Florida are probably more similar to each other than to any other states in the Union. Texas has less riots, Florida has less oil and California has a lot more scholars and artists than either, but other than they're peas in a pod.

Where did she say that? Since we're interested in clarity and whatnot....

That hasn't been my experience. Texas was/is the best by far, I'm just sad for what it's become.

How is this woman not getting blasted over Twitter?

Where's the "we hate intolerance (but mostly when Muslims do it)" crew of ATW and downbytheriver to denounce this act?

When will "moderate" republicans speak out against this in a public manner and say "we don't agree" to this?

    Nope.

Just saw this thread. Outrage? Nah. Mildly amused and shaking my head that you guys elect people like that is more like it.

It speaks a lot more to her intelligence than anything. You could be the biggest biggot in the country, but you'd at least have the sense not to show it in such a blatant manner. She needs to follow her other repug bigoted friends and practice subtlety in such matters.
