Yes I do focus on the teams and the GM's if its something we haven't heard. It starts and ends with the teams making the trades, and having the motivation to make trades. They are the buyers and the sellers in this market. The players are the product. -If its player driven... WE WILL HEAR about it loud and clear through the agents, through the media. They almost always need that driving force to put their team in a situation where they are forced to make a move. -If its team driven, they need a reason to pick up the phone. They have a need that must be solved (then Woj bomb). For the record, you do come up with some really interesting proposals that aren't as convoluted as some of the other crazy one's we see daily. However in this particular case, I don't see a need that is satisfied more effectively by going to a 3 team deal. If I'm New York, and Morey submits this proposal to me, the first thing I'd do is say... Hmm... Kevin Love. Let me call Dave Griffin and see if I could just deal directly with them. That sounds a heck of alot better than Capela, and a 1st. And we get a new face to put on billboards around New York. Not trying to poo poo on your idea, or say they are bad at the core. I just think its fruitful to step outside of the fans spectrum and see if all angles make sense if your sitting on the other end of the table.
I personally can't see Cleveland trading for one chucker extraordinaire in Melo to pair with another chucker extraordinaire in Irving. LeBron would age so fast due to stress Spoiler
Sure they will do that. And then Cleveland will talk to Love, and Love might tell NY "no thanks". Also, NY might realize that like with Melo, you can't build a championship with just Love. I agree that you have to find deals that work for everyone. I try to get closer to that than some, but ultimately it's all about getting the Rockets what we need.
How were you looking for him? Did you go around the arena chanting "cyberx!" to see if anyone would claim the name?
She isn't property, and his best case scenario is he lives in Cleveland while she and their kid live in NY, does he want that? since it kept him away from basically anyone but LA and NY in the offseason, doubtful
Portland has already said their first and only priority of the off-season is to get Aldridge locked up. Cousins already signed his deal last off-season.
I'm actually starting to get a bit concerned that the talk about him needing microfracture surgery could be true, his issue sounds awfully similar to Jadeveon Clowney's knee problem. Both were dealing with a nagging knee injury that would occasionally swell up. Both were able to play through it a bit but were robbed of explosiveness.
I'll give you a reason to not come back for another week- -Jopat thinks the Rockets have a chance at Jimmy Butler -Jopat thinks the Rockets are going to trade for Kevin Garnett -Rubio is still the greatest PG of his generation according to Jopat -etc. etc. etc. Just some good ole fashioned random trade thread talk.
Before you go though, don't forget to check signatures also! Going to check cyberx's sig for an update.
I feel like they would have to offer some incentive for us to take on this contract and they have no assets. #FrogWithTheProg #ImPrognant #Progress
Bev seems to be at his best when there is someone legitimately pushing him for playing time. There is no one on the team currently who does that. This lack of competition has robbed him of his focus. He needs to go back to being that lock down stopper who can hit an open shot. He needs to be great at those 2 things and average at everything else. When he presses to do too much is when he does nothing great and average at everything.
