    lol

I think the myth of Reggie Jackson's greatness before the season began has been debunked based on how underwhelming his play was when Durant and Westbrook were out and how crappy he is when they came back.

He was great in Westbrook's absence the last few seasons, but this year something's not right with him. I don't know if it's the pressure of playing for a new contract or bad chemistry on the team, but he's not having a good season at all.

Wilson Chandler seems like the most fair and logical trade exchange. Most of the other Nuggets trade chips would irritate me by helping OKC too much, a la the scuttled Brook Lopez deal.

Perfect. Hopefully OKC gets whatever player(s) they need to be 8th seed and knock out the Warriors in the first round.

Wilson Chandler is probably the best player OKC could get for RJ.

Regarding how good RJ is, he's not all that. Been proven time and time again. Plus his attitude is sorry. Any team that gives him the lead role he covets is guaranteed to be a lottery team. He rates himself with WB and Harden but he's nowhere near as talented or mentally tough as either guy.

That all said and adding RJ is one of the worst defenders you will ever see, he is much better than Bev could eve dream of being.

Nukic is untouchable. No way Denver is trading this guy.

Faried's contract is pretty big, OKC will not be able to swallow him.

    Others are scrubs.

Reggie Jackson's plays in Thunder this season is not thrilled by this teammates, both Durant and Westbrook shown disgusting on his shot selection on the floor regularly.

We are seeing the run in OKC start to come to an end. They have failed to put the quality players around Durant and Westbrook necessary to win a championship and you are starting to see a serious erosion.

Poor draft picks in recent year, poor trades (Harden), poor money management (Perkins) and cheap ownership (not keeping Martin/Harden) all are starting to severely hurt their bottom line.

I would be shocked if Durant and Westbrook resign in OKC at this point. The product on the court is dwindling and if you are KD or WB, are you confident will be fixed? Are you happy with the unwillingness to pay the tax to keep key pieces?

I expect the Thunder to go on a run at some point to take the 8th seed by the throat from an inferior Phoenix team....... but this isnt the same Thunder team from the last few seasons.

This trade might actually not even involve Denver sending back a player at all.

OKC might be trading Jackson for draft considerations, most likely seeking one of the many first rounders Denver holds over the next few years.

The Thunder are currently roughly $2.27 million OVER the tax threshold. Jackson makes $2.2 million this year, and Clay Bennett apparently hates paying the luxury tax. Dumping Jackson's salary for a nice draft pick would put OKC in position to drop below the tax threshold at the deadline with even a minor trade (say, Grant Jerrett to whomever wants to take him).

    Just a thought.

The problem for the Thunder is that the way they're struggling right now leaves them with 2 likely outcomes for the season:

    1) They miss the postseason which would be disastrous heading into Durant's final year.

    2) They barely sneak in as the 8th seed leaving them with a first round matchup against the Warriors.

Unless they pull off one major upset(and yes, it would be a huge upset) against Golden State, that would still be a bad scenario heading into Durant's final year, having lost in the first round.

They'll likely be better next year if they're healthy, but Durant will have serious doubts about reupping with a franchise that seems to be going backwards since their 2012 Finals appearance.

That would send a real strong message to Durant and Westbrook that they are serioud about winning now.

My bad. I'm meant as an overall player he is better than Bev because of his skills and athleticism on offense.

Reggie Jackson isn't a better overall player than Patrick Beverly.

That would be right up Presti's alley.

Or maybe they throw in Perry Jones (who would be even more worthless with Chandler on the team) and/or Jeremy Lamb, Andre Roberson to make the salaries match.
