Breaking news: sources tell @FOXSports the NFL has zeroed in on a locker room attendant w Patriots who allegedly took balls from officials locker room to another area on way to field. Sources say they have interviewed him and additionally have video. Still gauging if any wrong doing occurred with him but he is strong person of interest

Does this "locker room attendant" happen to be the ball boy? I wonder if he took the balls into a bathroom stall, Aramark sno-cone style (oh Astros). After interviewing him and having video of him what else could they be missing? This investigation is really picking up steam (read--the media is really dragging this out for clickbait).

I want to see the video.

If true, Kraft & Belichick will get hit hard. I don't think Brady gets punished unless that attendant implicates him.

Absolutely zero chance some random ball boy would do this without Brady or Belicheck's approval, especially in a game as big as the AFC Championship. Don't buy that at all.

Yeah right, that ball boy will take the fall by himself. Kraft already gave him seven figures to shut his mouth and leave Brady/BB out of this.

The NFL doesn't want to mess up their precious Super Bowl. That's why they are taking weeks to "gather evidence", they are afraid of what they might find and what they'll have to do.

There was never a chance in hell of a conclusion of this before the Superbowl, especially a conclusion that found the Patriots guilty of wrongdoing.

On the other hand, would Brady/Belichick trust a "random ball boy" to do the dirty work and do it right?

You can't exactly pull this off yourself if you're a high profile person like them. It would reek of suspicion.

Anybody think a Seattle player will do an endzone celebration checking the ball for air? I'm thinking someone will.

My gut tells me this will cost the Pats a 1st and 2nd round pick, and Brady & Belichick 4 games each.

A massive '**** you' to Kraft. Even if you don't think Belicheck and Brady are to blame, your team did use illegal footballs that give you an advantage. How about saying 'I am very sorry to the other organizations that our games have not been played in a fair environment'. You are not the victim Kraft. They are. How dare he demand an apology.

Called it! The one place the cameras could not see him. "Deflating balls in bathroom stalls" sounds like a decent headline. Maybe "Gone in 90 Seconds" would be better.
