I feel like the front office has to be panicking a bit right now...keywords "a bit"..Yes, we're still a very good team, but this team isn't built to win with one superstar. I don't see Dwight being able to repeat what he did against Portland last year...he doesn't look like he's going to get any better soon....We're just looking at a reversal of roles between he and Harden in the postseason. Hopefully we can get a legit shooter and a playmaker at the deadline.
I am getting concerned as well. The lack of a pg/playmaker is becoming more obvious by the game. It is about 25 days till the trading deadline, but I wish Morey could bring us what we need sooner. I envision this team playing at a much better pace with a true pg. All the guys, especially Howard and Ariza would benefit tremendously with some creative passing.
Yeah, unlikely there's movement before the deadline given that Shved can't be packaged until then. I assume Brewer will not be traded since he declined his PO just to come here. It would be a dick move to trade him after that.
Not really, with the new CBA, just about everybody is going to opt out. Plus it gives him a bit more security in the long term.
The big money doesn’t come in until 2016. Brewer by opting out would be entering FA one year before. And this doesn’t even account for the fact that if he gets injured, he could potentially lose quite a bit of money for next year.

Well, as usual, the injury bug has hit again. We're getting over one and fighting another (Dwight), but Dwight is a fighter and a great glue guy on the bench. I wonder how Chandler feels about helping to recruit him here. I know I'm thankful. Dwight did return the favor though.
