    Also,

    Phil Jackson....4 four words....

    Michael Jordan

    Kobe Bryant

Bottom line is this: Scott isnt a great coach but he isnt a bad coach either. He has had success in the NBA.

Lin apologists want you to think that he is some scrub coach that is the reason for Lin's downfall. Yeah, right.

You can have Phil Jackson + Greg Popovich coaching this Lakers team and they still wouldn't be going anywhere.

This is just a ****ty Lakers team and Lin is one of the many reasons why.

Kenny Smith won 2 nba titles as a starter and was also the starting point guard for the legendary dean smith at north carolina.
In 1991, Kenny Smith averaged 17.7 and 7 assists a game as a starter

Kenny Smith is obviously a much better point guard and NBA player than Lin will ever be.

Kenny Smith can speak basketball intelligently. Jeremy Lin drops his God stuff to hide his lack of basketball knowledge as a point guard.

This is Kenny Smith, age 25 , nba starter. You can't compare him to a 3rd string point guard on one of the worst teams in the league.
    how old is Lin? 26?

    Zboy,

clutch has deemed that person you are responding to as a 'rookie'. he also exists on the lakers board talking the same mess.

you are not talking to a basketball fan, avoid talking to rookies.

Clutch made this label for those who clearly do not have clutch city in their hearts. they are unworthy of one sentence from you.

    you are hakeem status.

Kenny Smith was 10 times the player Lin ever will be.

He spaced floor for Hakeem with his outstanding shooting, made good decision on the fast break, took care of the ball, and was a big factor in several playoff series.

As much grief as Maloney gets on this board, he has actually helped his team advance in the playoffs, as opposed to Lin that was a big reason that his team did not advance. And yes, Maloney still has better handles than Jeremy Lin's handles.

In fact, in my 25 years or more of watching the NBA, I cant think of a single PG (starter or backup) that had/has worse handles than Jeremy Lin.

You cant lead as a PG in the NBA if you have ****ty handles.

loll what a r****d this guy is. Blaming Lin for Lakers record rofl. He barely plays and whenever he does he plays well. He is the best player in the team along with Ed Davis and Nick Young.

Kenny Smith was one of the first players to be in the dunk contest and 3 point contest

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/cQmfVyd_ykQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Jeremy Lin would be one of the first players to be in the turnover and airball contests if the NBA had those contests.

Jeremy Lin would win in the "Jump in the air and throw it to the other dude on the other team" competition

Jeremy Lin would also win in the "I don't know how much time is left in the game and do we have the lead " contest

You have "in morey we trust" in your signature

did you trust him when we got rid of Jeremy Lin?

I did. That was one of the best moves we ever did in the Morey era, trading a guy we know could not be trusted in critical game situations as a point guard.

thank you daryl morey. God chose Daryl Morey to make the right decision.

*sigh* Now I have to explain what "one of the many" means? Our education system is truly failing us.

This is why you cant believe a word that Lin worshippers say.

Below is a sampling of the games from this season from a player that, according to mig0s, plays well whenever he plays.

    10/28 vs Rockets 29min 1-5 7pts 6TO
    11/1 vs Warriors 32min 0-6 6pts 5TO
    11/16 vs Warriors 22min 0-2 0pts3TO
    11/19 vs Rockets 30min 1-5 3pts 5TO
    11/30 vs Raptors 35min 3-11 11pts 0TO
    12/22 vs Pistons 30min 2-5 3pts 1TO
    12/3 vs Wizards 30min 0-10 0pts 4TO
    12/7 vs Pelicans 20min 1-5 3pts 1TO
    12/9 vs Kings 22min 1-5 12pts 3TO
    12/14 vs Timberwolves 20min 2-5 8pts 2TO
    12/15 vs Pacers 17min 0-6 8pts 2TO
    12/21 vs Kings 21min 1-3 4pts 3TO
    12/25 vs Bulls 19min 2-8 6pts 0TO
    12/26 vs Mavericks 22min 2-8 5pts 2TO
    12/30 vs Nuggets 15min 1-6 4pts 1TO

These are the really bad ones. It wasnt like all of the others were "well" either.

What a truly disgusting post by mig0s.

I think his point is that Jeremy Lin is capable of scoring 38 points.

I'm glad we have someone on the bench who can score 51 points.

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/vC1srGqOrK4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I actually think the Rockets defense was at fault here, especially that guy wearing 7, he plays defense like a chicken

LOL! I had never noticed his status. Personally I do not care of status but this is hilarious.

He is a fraud just like the player he worships. :)

BTW, cute that he thinks a regular season game has more weight than an NBA Finals game.

No real Rockets would ever compare a championship era Kenny Smith to Jeremy Lin (Any point of his career)

Yes, linsanity was an amazing streak and that's what it was a streak.

nba championships, facing elite players like Stockton and Penny Hardaway and Kevin Johnson
    that's different.

Jeremy Lin status means you are a 3rd string bench player, Hakeem status means you are the MVP, Finals MVP, DPOY

Thankfully Lin has a good tailor. He looks so sophisticated on the bench.
