Kenny Smith was 10 times the player Lin ever will be. He spaced floor for Hakeem with his outstanding shooting, made good decision on the fast break, took care of the ball, and was a big factor in several playoff series. As much grief as Maloney gets on this board, he has actually helped his team advance in the playoffs, as opposed to Lin that was a big reason that his team did not advance. And yes, Maloney still has better handles than Jeremy Lin's handles. In fact, in my 25 years or more of watching the NBA, I cant think of a single PG (starter or backup) that had/has worse handles than Jeremy Lin. You cant lead as a PG in the NBA if you have ****ty handles.
