Howard is already falling off, Harden has played 6 seasons and 10 seasons is about where players start to deteriorate. The next 2-3 years is our window, if we plan on winning it all then we need to put together a better team and quick.

Harden and DMo obviously know that we need him, and I think Dragic wants to be here. It's interesting that DMo was part of the recruiting effort....maybe that's a signal that he's not in a trade for Dragic (not that I really thought he would be anyway).

 

The cap is expected to jump to upwards of $8590mil range. $15mil is the new $11mil. Besides, Dragic's game will age fairly well. His decline will be more of a smooth one rather than a sharp dropoff.
