Seems to me that when the press conference got to the important part, the questions, he had no answers. Specifically what did Tom Brady have to say and what the equipment manager had to say. Surely he talked to them, but the only response was I've told you everything I know and I have no explanation and that's for the NFL to investigate. For me, he was not forthcoming.

Let's see what Tom Brady has to say.

Cheap shot at the colts? I haven't heard any colts players or coaches using it as an excuse for losing.

Wow. Almost sounds like he's throwing Brady under the bus. Or at worst, just deferring the questions directly to him. Tom's presser should be interesting.

It's only a $25,000 fine for deflating footballs, about what Lynch was assessed for his "gesture".

Bellicheat throwing Brady under the bus.

Ban Bellicheat and suspend Brady for a season, starting now.

    From another forum:

Press: Bill? Did you order the balls deflated?

Pats Fans: You *don't* have to answer that question!

    Bill: I'll answer the question!

    Bill: You want answers?

Press: I think we're entitled to.

    Bill: *You want answers?*

    Press: *I want the truth!*

Bill: *You can't handle the truth!*

    [pauses]

Bill: Son, we live in a world that has Super Bowls to win, and those Bowls have to be won by men with gumption. Who's gonna do it? Andre Luck? Peyton Manning? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for the Colts, and you curse the Patriots. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That deflated balls, while tragic, probably wins us a spot in the Bowl. And my coaching tenure, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves my credibility. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me to win that bowl, you need me on that Bowl. We use words like honor, Patriot Way, win by any means. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent trying to win. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the storylines that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a ball, and stand as a believer. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to.

Press: Did you order the balls deflated?

Bill: I did the job I...

Kaffee: *Did you order the balls deflated?*

    Bill: *You're ******* right I did!*

It is just like I said from day 1........ Brady and the ball boy were the ones involved in this. I doubt that BB even knew.

Also I would point out, concerning Spygate, BB immediately admitted they had taped practices for years and cited the rule/regulation that he believed allowed him to do so.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like BB is embarassed and going to let Tom Brady deal with the issue.... I am sure BB is NOT happy with this issue coming to the forefront now..... I am also sure he doesn't want to deal with Robert Kraft.

Bill said ask Tom. Tom says he didn't do it. Guess they'll just have to fire the ball boy(s).

Brady denies any involvement or knowledge.

I'm sure he and the NFL have already been in contact, so this tells me they have no witness. This is dead.

Tom Brady is getting hammered by the Boston media. It's quite a pleasure to listen to. "I have no knowledge of anything... I'm very comfortable saying nobody did anything wrong... I have no idea what happened with the process of the ball after I chose it... There's nobody I know that can answer the questions I have..."

He hedged constantly and had to be pressured to deny wrongdoing.

You laughed it off Monday, today you are very somber. What gives?

That was real early in the morning. Woke up to do the radio interview and was shocked to hear it and laughed it off. Ends up being serious when you learn the things being said.

    What became more serious?

I wasn't aware Monday of everything that had happened. As you learn more, there's more than what I initially... ...Integrity of the game & fair play. We set a great example for younger kids.

If the Colts want to sit there and squeeze it, then that's what they can do.

Ravens notice a difference. Colts notice a difference. Patriots? Huh? What? No idea!

Offer the ball boy Brady's salary for the Suoer Bowl.l, since he should be suspended for it, and won't earn it. The truth will come out!

Although, this is the NFL, and they create rules for Tom Brady...they don't punish him for breaking them...

Here's what I would love to happen in a parallel universe:

Brady keeps digging himself deeper. He gets suspended for the Super Bowl. Garoppolo has a great game. (I'd be rooting for him to do well if he played) The Patriots get so angry by Brady cheating and melting down that he gets released. Brady gets shunned by the league. (Alright last part's a stretch)
