i hate this as much as any rockets fan but we just have to ride it out. he hasnt been anywhere near 100% since coming back from his injury. the two trades doesnt make his transition any easier. he's not giving all his effort. he gets mauled all the time which just adds on to a big sht pile thats already got too much sht on it.

he's pissed off like a mofo, this is where mchale has to do something. put him on a minutes restriction until he's 100%. 20-25mpg. make dmo the 2nd option. stop giving dwight so many touches. if jones truly can get healthy again then that will help a ton and can even let dwight sit out a few games.

but dwight cant be a heavy minutes player if he's gonna be like this.

Anyone think about the Love-Kyrie-LeBron era in Cleveland? People there are frustrated with their team even though it is light years ahead of what they were last year just because the team isn't meeting the incredibly high expectations that were bestowed upon from the beginning.

You guys remember when Dwight had the injury? The Rockets were shocked he was not playing that night, they had no idea his knee was that bad - I recall Bill Worrell sounding confused as to why he was not playing.

If his knee is hurting due to wear and tear, he is done as a star player.

Some of you act like we're somehow entitled to a championship and these guys are screwing it up intentionally. Taking into consideration talent, salary cap, timing and luck we're in better shape than 80 percent of the league. The only glaring upgrade should be at the point. Pat isn't nearly the defensive or offensive player he was when he won the job from Lin. He's being exposed in a very embarassing way.

Best year the Rockets have had in a long time, and still an outpouring of entitlement b****ing and hate in the Game Threads and GARM.

The rest of us fans just have to learn to live with this abject negativity and know that the whiners and backseat coaches will b**** at the Rockets all the way to the Finals and winning. Won't stop even in the Finals.

Like you say, it's a fan entitlement mentality.

I hate watching games and sitting next to negative people...then they want to celebrate right next to you and want to high five you. But we have to learn to live with them.

Post of the year so far.

The same whiners and armchair coaches are going to turn around and act like they've supported the team all along.

Im givng him a pass for now because he played so well for us in the playoffs, but it is not encouraging that he has been more bad for us this year than good.

I'll give Dmo a pass since he has been mostly good for us this season, no shame in having a bad game against the best team in the league. Dwight on the other hand....

Golden State is a great defensive team. They really made it hard on James, and no one else fan really create.

I was thinking that having Gogi to break them down would have really made a difference.

I remember pairing him with JaVale McGee on 2K12 ... My opponents got NO rebounds!

Lmao. Curry did not EXPOSE us. Klay Thompson did more damage than anybody. I get it though, you guys have certain talking points you stick too after every loss. Do you bro;)

Obviously dumping him is a complete overreaction, but even you cheerleader superfans who never have a bad thing to say about the team have to admit that watching him can be very frustrating.

Where is this great defense he plays? He's 19th in the league in blocked shots. Behind such shot-blocking legends as Bismack Biyombo and Gorgui Dieng. I'm sure he changes a lot of shots, though...

Read my posts. First of all I don't post after every loss. Secondly, Curry was the opposing point guard not Klay Thompson. Third, I'm not a follower so, "you guys" has never applied to me.

Best year in a log time? WTF are you talking about????

The Rockets as it stands today are around the 5th seed - no different than many years in the MacGrady-Yao era

Yeah they had a hot start, but its hard to take them seriously after so many struggles against top teams and the dissaponting play that is becoming routine

If the playoffs started today they would be on the road - and prolly be one and done- Best Year??? Pfffft!!!!!!!

Damn man, you sound like Les - "Sit down, shut up and be happy with winning 1 playoff round in almost 20 years!"

Most fans, unlike yourself, are tired of the merry go-round of low expectations and low results

Keep in mind that Dwight also lacked any effort last night. He and Smith both just looked lost and uninterested.

I suggest you start following the front running teams, it could reduce your stress level. You're a fair weather fan, Sir. Real fans are ride or die and share the realistic expectation that our team will likely not will a championship every year.
