I need to see it in person. I'm tired of companies hyping tech with stage demos 3 years (I'm aware they're claiming it will be sooner) before the half assed actual product is actually released. When I get my hands on it is when I'll be impressed. Probably. All I want to say is they don't give a **** about us.
Just read the Wired review of this and the guy is hyping it a lot. http://www.wired.com/2015/01/microsoft-hands-on/
I read somewhere Windows 10 will be free to upgrade for a year for people with windows 7 and 8, and 8.1. Does anyone know how that works? What if you change a component on your computer or your hdd/sdd dies?
Holy crap. Redmond, Washington must be the nerdy hipster capital of the world. Suck it, Cupertino. I'll believe this when I actually try it, or see people trying it.
This is the next step in our insatiable thirst for technology! We really wont be satisfied until we reach our full potential... Spoiler The Borgs are coming.... ....... ....... .......
YAY! More ways for geeks and jerks to look like a douchebag and be identified as one on the street! p.s. I don't know why the OP combined news of a simple upgrade with crappy new "technology." Sounds like they're totally different types of "news" and should be separated as discussions. I, for one, welcome the upgrade to 10 from 7.
