Interestingly enough, Dennis Scott still picked Harden for MVP (After the Warriors game) and the narrative that Harden is carrying his team is a growing one. It is becoming pretty clear that to everyone that Harden doesn't have much help here, which is just sad.

He had 10 more points on 14 less shots (7 if you adjust for free throws) than the rest of the starters combined.

Dub Team is full of mercs.
Switch curry in harden's position and the kid would never be in mvp discussions. It's not rocket science.

As frustrating as it is to get swept in the reg season by a team you feel youre at the same level as... It's still just 4 out of 82 games. Nobody is going to be thinking about this when we are in the meat of the second half of the season.

However, if I was making decisions for the Rockets I'd do two things. 1st, I'd rest howard more. He's obviously not 100%. And we NEED him to be 100% come playoff time. 2nd, I'd up my offer for another playmaker. Harden is trying his best (and doing pretty dang good) to carry the load offensivly, but he's gonna gas out if he doesn't get some help. Whether it's Dragic, Lawson, Dwill, Reggie Jackson, Trey Burke or someone that Im not thinking of... We need to get some help for harden offensively.

I still think we'll be fine. Still think we could win a title as cunstructed. But would feel more comfortable if one or both of those were to happen.

Insert Rondo at PG in the starting line-up instead of Josh Smith at PF ... oh well, what could have been ...

I've been turning off the game before it ends and becoming less of a Dwight Howard fan lately.

Yes we played turrrible...but the Refs suck. Dead set suck.

It's funny that Josh got tossed for swearing, but Curry was allowed to stay on the court after charging at Ariza & carrying on like a spoilt child.

Dwight has to sit early after starting to throw down some sweet jams, because refs reward the flop.

    Refs suck.

Our offence sucks and our defence has gone backwards.

Not a knee jerk reaction, it is a true observation.

Warriors are gonna take it this year because the NBA has mandated it. The lakers may sneak into the playoffs but not gonna win it all, the clips are not gonna win because of the whole race thing, sacramento will NEVER win it EVER. The refs have essentially killed deights effectiveness by letting other teams maul him and calling crucial crappy fouls on him - see iguodalas flop tonight. I dont really blame the guy. Look at his demeanor. He is being punished for leaving LA and not following his masters orders. I cant support this league any longer. It is an utter waste of time for me. Look at your owner Les Alexander, all that guy cares about is ratings - hence his comments about not needing to get out of the first round. I am taking a stand for true competition and not all these narratives that disney writes on espn. Dont waste your emotions and brain power on these games. I gotta find a new way of enjoying without buying too much into it. Then again i never liked WWE.

This is precisely the issue. I was shocked how nonchalant the Rockets were from the start of the game. I expected a playoff atmosphere, great intensity. They looked like they were in "practice mode." That is very troubling.

Didn't watch the second half. Looks like it was just more of the same.

This team lacks shooters and individual play makers. Time for a trade

Hopefully we can crush the Suns and dismantle the Lakers to get some confidence back.

Harden actually said they "aren't that good" before the game? LOL

I like Harden's cockiness but please put down the crack pipe.

I'll give the warriors this, when the season started I wasn't convinced they were better than the Rockets but that's obvious now. I'm still not convinced they are clear favorites in the NBA just because of their record. Go up against a good coach that knows how to make adjustments and react to your offense come play off time. The quick pull up 3s and relying on screens to get quick open looks won't work when a team like the spurs have a strategy against you to stop it, than your forced to grind it out. Their offense rely heavily on quick pull ups and running a bunch curl routes and screens.

But it's clear, Kerr coached warriors are far superior to the Coachless rockets.

We run an offense based on shooting outside shots but don't have anyone outside of Harden who can do that. We obviously don't suck but you can't win anything significant without changing the coaching staff or bringing in actual shooters.
