Curry is MVP, just because Houston plays like ass without Harden doesn't make him MVP. If that was the case Love would have won last year or Unibrow Davis this year. Only chance Harden has at MVP is if he puts up historic numbers but he isn't.

Agreed, will be very interesting to see what McHale does when Jones gets back. There's no reason Smith should get any minutes over Jones, providing he returns to the form he showed last year and early this season.

Yes a bit, but DMo was getting stuffed by Bogut coming off of Howard as a weakside shot blocker and he missed a couple of shots he usually makes...an off night for him to be sure.

The underdog team we had on the first 10-15 games or so with a bunch of ppl injured was a lot more fun to watch. Team was not going to win much but the level of effort and defense was great. After that the only high notes are DMo's developement, Ariza's and Brewer's intensity and Harden's MVP run.

Oh yea, forgot to mention, I am not impressed with a meaningless comeback against their *third* unit.

Yes please. Unfortunately it won't happen.

    McHale:

Stripped us, loose balls they came up with, multiple efforts on the offensive glass. They had 14-16 points off our turnovers. We weren't coming away with loose balls. Weren't able to break them down and attack. Their steals [& blocks] were in the paint. Didn't get it.

They play hard, they move, get into our guys, make you make plays. We had opportunities to make plays and didn't.

Tonight, we gave up a ton in points in many ways. Our offense will be our offense. Our offense is fueling teams with turnovers. Bottom line, you have to go get balls off the board. Someone will go get it if it's missed. Its gotta be you if you want to win. We didn't get them. The rest, missed shots and the rest, its not here nor there because there's not a guy trying to shoot the ball and miss.

Well once again Morey will be burning the midnight oil trying to make a trade by the trading deadline. Same old song every season it seems. I just hope it really works and gets the team going in the right direction.

What a bad coach we have. If you think he still has 3 year extension, you want to kill yourself.

Josh Smith doesn't fit in this team, I don;t care about his offense, but his defense is too suck

Something definitely isn't right with this team. It all seems to have started around the time Dwight came back and McHale got his extension. The timing could be entirely coincidental, but I'm not so sure. Clearly, something's up with Dwight. If it's the knee, then he and the team need to decide what they're gonna do going forward. Does he need to sit out another few weeks? Does he need to miss the 2nd night of B2Bs like Wade last season with the Heat? Or is it mental? Is he just upset about something(D-Mo's development? The team's success without him?)? I wish I knew. But either way, whatever the issue is with him needs to be dealt with immediately.

As for McHale, I thought he was doing a good job earlier in the year. The team was playing great D. They were outstanding during the 11 game stretch when Dwight and a bunch of others were out with injuries. But since that extension, it's almost as if having the pressure of needing to win taken away put him in some sort of comfort zone where he knew he wasn't getting fired anytime soon and now he's completely lost control of the team. It's human nature. We see players do it all the time. They play great in a contract year and then revert to their bad habits and laziness once they get paid. Maybe McHale's doing the same thing as a coach.

I know I'm going to get flamed like a mofo for saying this but at least with Lin , we had a secondary penetrator/playmaker...

Thanks! Oh well, at least they tried I guess... Yeah definitely looked like off night for him (going off box score), just wanted to make sure wasn't something else going on.

No reason to get flamed for that. I said it months ago. Now don't get me wrong. Lin sucks and cost us 2 playoff games. But when he came into games off the bench last year, he'd push the ball and get us points in transition. He also could get to the hoop and create his own shot. He was maddeningly inconsistent, but he at least had these abilities.

Right now the closest thing we have to that on the roster is Canaan and he's not even with the team right now. I've been screaming for McHale to play him and preserve Terry for later in the season(notice how his play has declined thanks to all the minutes he's piled up?), but at this point, I've all but given up on Canaan ever getting back into the rotation.

WHY THE HELL DO YOU NOT PUT HARDEN BACK INTO THE GAME WHEN THERE IS 2 MINUTES LEFT IN A 9 POINT GAME ?

McHale I think was trying to make a point to the NBA that the refs ****ed us once again.

This loss is 100% on the cowardly incompetent clueless joke that is McHale

Harden can only carry this team so much. Coach is a liability
