Harden got half his points by flopping like a fish out of water and during a 20 point deficit.

i dont understand when ppl were against rondo arguing harden is our ball handler. that shouldnt matter. thompson and curry are example of how having two ball handlers on a team isnt a big deal

D-Mo got blocked like 3-4 times today, I am strictly talking about this game, he was playing center when Dwight went out.

Props to golden state, they have an outstanding team. Lots of talent and well balanced. It's important for the Rockets to not get too down on this loss, just like you shouldn't get too high after wins.

Keep in mind this team is not a finished product and we still have the means to improve and improve significantly. Golden state on the other hand is a finished product, so much so that they will likely lose significant talent this offseason. Interestingly, the 2013-14 Warriors were awfully similar to this years Rockets in terms of team output (12th on offense, 4th on defense). They seem to be a year ahead of us in team building, and we certainly have the foundation to get to that level.

It's unlikely we will play them again this season, as we probably won't be in their bracket in the playoffs, so while these games are alarming, they are hardly catastrophic. AnywY, on to the next game.

It's funny how this game basically shows that Harden is the MVP because he has so little help from coaches and his teammates.

Dwight Howard doesn't want Harden get MVP.

The Rockets would be terrible if you flipped Curry and Harden

They both can score from anywhere on the court within the flow of the offense. Harden and rondo cant

Hakeem had a lot of teammates he could trust though. Harden doesn't really have that yet.

question still remains. how many games did curry win vs how many games did warriors win? In comparison to how many games harden won vs how many games the rockets won. Arguably, even this game, the warriors beat the rockets as opposed to curry beating us

This team is incredibly hard as a fan to watch.

If you have watched a reasonable amount of playoff NBA basketball in the past 30 years, you KNOW that teams that can respond to adversity and FIGHT back are the ones that advance.

That was a hallmark of Clutch City.

This team (with maybe the exception of James Harden) doesn't have that mentality.

They get punched in the mouth.
Their comeback mode is to give the ball to Harden and watch him try to win 1 on 5.
    It doesn't work.
    They start to get disheartened.
    They fall behind more.
    They panic.
They lose poise and get techs.
They get blown out and sit the entire 4th.

Hakeem did not trust them until he missed games with the eye injury from Bill Cartwright and the team won 15 in a row without him and he came back a new man ready to trust his teamates....and the ball moved and the team took off.

I said at the beginning of the game that if the Rockets lose but Harden has a good game, I wouldn't worry about losing too much. Well, Harden had an good game and I'm even more worried about this team than before, especially the other starters.
