This was an extremely demoralizing loss. Howard and Smith's body language was probably the most disappointing thing about this game for me. Whatever happened to the H and H pick and roll?

I am not saying Harden is bad, just that he needs to move the ball and cut early in the shot clock and get it back, if he holds it at the top - everyone starts to watch, we had the same issue with TMac, the team is better when the ball and bodies move.

And it is not Harden, the team is a big problem - I just think Harden could help by moving the ball a bit more....it might help the others find their way.

DMo has shot 50% or better for over 10 straight games, and the big that he attacked was not the problem, Bogut coming over from the weakside was....

Maybe this is karma for when the Rockets were blowing them out and were still shooting threes trying to set a record. After four ass whippings this season I would say we're even now.

Looks like our bench should start the game instead. We only loss by 13 instead of 25 or 30.

It's kind of true though. Our bench played with urgency and looked better than our starting 5. Confidence is such an important aspect to a team's success. Their confidence couldn't be higher and they're playing in front of one of the best crowds in basketball, they came out pumped and were ready to go. As for the Rockets, we looked as deflated as footballs during Patriots' games. No sense of pride, no grit or urgency on defense. No composure or class on offense.

We're a good team, but that was a sad performance. As a Rockets fan, I'm simply disappointed.

    Classless acts by the Rockets
    1) Dwight quitting like a soft ass b**** and purposely fouling for his 5th cuz he wanna quit
    2) Ariza and Beverly resorting to wannabe rough after Warriors just pounding them with real basketball
    3) Josh Smith being Smith

I agree. But it's pretty obvious at this point that the reason they're not ready so often is that they're not being prepared by their coach. McHale needs to understand he doesn't have Bird, Parish, DJ, and himself out there. A lot of these guys are young, some have very little experience, most have never sniffed playoff success(or if they did, it was a while ago). They need their coach to motivate them. To get them ready for their opponents.

Of course, we're asking McHale to do something he's clearly incapable of. He's not a teacher. He's not a disciplinarian. He's not a tactician. He's an ego manager. He keeps everyone in the locker room as happy as possible. On the court, he just rolls the ball out there and lets the chips fall where they may.

It's this simple. Kerr made a rare mistake and eased off the throttle a bit early. The scrub unit came back from a lack of effort from the opposing team... Not some pseudo "effort" and ball movement. Kerr made the mistake and the deficit shrank to 9. Warriors woke up and started trying. No scrub unit is going close a 9 point deficit in Oracle arena against the Warriors starting unit. That is when you put your best offensive player by a galactic mile in the game.

Mchale is as foolish as the posters on this board who advocated that Harden should stay on the bench and keep the 5 on the court. His perception was that the unit on the floor was making moves and putting in superior effort. No, it was a lack of trying from the Warriors. Michael didn't see this and that is why he is the worst coach in the NBA.

Behind Harden, Brewer is my favorite Rockets player to watch. My god, It's a eye sore watching Dwight play now. I much rather see him have nothing to do with offense. My goodness, Bogut not even a good offensive player, yet he understand how to score without the need of post ups.

am i the only one who liked howard and ariza pulling that shi*. granted that hurt us, but we were probably gonna lose anyways. letting out that frustration helps in the long run from my point of view. ariza esp.

Bring up Capela and once Jones is back should make a difference around the glass. Jones brings energy and Capela can protect the paint. Unfortunately outside of Harden everyone else jacks up bricks way too consistently. Way too many transition buckets for the Warriors.

That's what happens when both of your pg and sf need someone else to create a shot for them

    Sadly he's right.

Harden does more than Curry, though. Curry has so much more help from teammates and coaches than Harden does.

I don't know if I would do that IMO. Gotta give the bench credit by letting them finish the job. The starters couldn't hang, granted it was the second string warriors they were playing for most of the fourth.
