Yes, yes, 100 times yes, that is why I still believe they should have matched Parsons - and yes, I know it was too much but Ariza is just so bad on offense that it hurts...you can't start Ariza, Beverley and Howard and expect to contend, then you bring in others who can't score in Smith, and others that are inconsistent in Terry and Brewer and expect to keep up with teams that can score.

This team is a better defensive team (when they compete) than last year but much worse on offense.

Their core players have better chemistry than ours. Thanks to Morey changing up the lineup every 3 months.

The warriors are playing on another level, it's insane. We can beat 3/4 of the league easily but the elite is where we struggle..

McHale needs to insert Brewer into the starting lineup and shake things up hes earned it;

Howard will be quiet and say how we have to stick together. Bev will be moody and give an attitude. McHale will be frustrated.

c'mon, you guys, so GSW has our number this year.

Doesn't mean we still can't advance into the 2nd round. Or play well vs other teams. We just need to plug any holes that this stretch of games reveals.

Too bad changing the coaching is harder to do. Either we get Canaan, Johnson and Capela up sooner than expected or we trade for a secondary playmaker.

Rome wasn't built in a single day. Howard is clearly injured so that has taken our competitiveness down several notches. How to plug that? TJones? Capela? Brooks Lopez?

Step by step. Don't give up on the team.

 

I'm pretty sure Morey is trying to improve this team behind the scenes. He has added some decent bench players in Terry, Papa, and Brewer(jury's still out on Smith) since the Bosh debacle. But he does have some tough choices to make going forward. I think the whole 3rd superstar pursuit needs to be set aside and the organization needs to be honest with themselves about Dwight's future with the team. Because right now, they don't even have 2 superstars.

As for the McHale extension, I honestly don't think Morey had anything to do with that. That reeks of Les. Maybe Morey likes having a yes man around, but I'm pretty sure for a guy who's obsessed with cap flexibility, the last thing he wants is to be stuck with the same coach for another 3 years with no option to replace him should things head south.
