    Dwight isn't even a star anymore. A star doesn't show up only once every few games. He doesn't make your defense worse than it was in his absence.

    Seriously, compare this Rockets performance to the one against the Warriors last time they were in Oakland. We nearly beat them that night and were actually leading until late in the 4th. And that was in the midst of Golden State's 16-game winning streak, so the Warriors were playing just as well then as they are now.

    I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think we actually are worse off with Dwight than without him. The Dwight we have right now is not the same guy who started off the season dominating. If it's the knee, so be it. But whatever the reason, he's a shell of his former self and we cannot win with him playing like this.

    Nah man, he shoved him. You don't set screens with your hands. Dwight needs serious coaching on all the fundamentals. His screens are crappy, he doesn't box out, and his post up game is awful.

    Throwing it to him in the post is a turnover waiting to happen. He doesn't feel which way the defender is leaning like D-Mo and make a move. He leaves space in between and tries to bang his guy out of position to get off his jump hook. Problem is all he does is bang hard enough to lose the ball. Teams don't double Dwight to stop him from scoring, they double Dwight to cause a turnover. Its like watching Miami trap Jeremy Lin on pick n rolls. They aren't trying to get the ball out of his hands because they are scared of what he is going to do with it, they see the high dribble and think its time to eat.

    I have serious doubts about the makeup of our team. We are built like the 2000-2002 Lakers around a star wing and a star big with offensively limited role players that are proficient only once the defense is tilted away from them. Beverly and Ariza aren't great but they are more or less who we thought they were. 1) Dwight isn't the low-post threat Shaq is 2) Even if he was he isn't getting position deep enough, guys can double him and still get back to close out in shooters in time.

    I actually get why Morey wants a "third" star. We actually need a second.
