The real problem is the Rockets lost the game exact the same way. Howard has been proven inefficient at posting, create turn overs and turn overs. Smith shot long jumpers. The problem is not on them. They are who they are, they have strength and weakness. It is the coaching team unable to design the play to utilize their strength and avoid their weakness. Harden can bring the team to play off, but he cannot bring the ring back by himself. The coaching team must make changes right now, instead of blaming players after loss.

At least Rockets won't have to play them again. so embarrassing. so disheartening. These beat downs have been so bad that you can't even hate GSW anymore. We are all just shaking our head and waiting for the beat down to end.

3rd quarters are always Harden's best quarters, but who is coming back down 20 to the best defense in the nba?

He got all those numbers in the first quarter. Even then, 9 of those points came from the stripe. He is 3 - 11. I expect my MVP to hit some shots when the team can't buy a basket and the other team is hitting everything, but he was ineffective in that 2nd quarter.

Not saying his MVP campaign is dead because he is the only one doing anything out there, but he certainly isn't helping himself.

    GO MOREY BALL!

I haven't got the stats to prove it but I swear we are either red or ice cold. We have no f'king consistency and it shows.

This is GSW's zenith. It will probably only go down from here.

If they're lucky, they won't face the Thunder in the first round.

If they're really lucky, they'll have Draymond Green on the roster next season.

Been waiting for this team to show some PRIDE tonight but it is all talk and no action thus far. IF they are to make a comeback they will need to play outstanding D and get the 20pt lead down to 10 by the end of the 3rd.

Rockets have gotten away from what they were doing at the beginning of the season that brought them success.

Not competing, Dwight is a shell of his former self before the knee injury, Terry's production falling off a cliff, McHale's terrible coaching starting to rear its ugly head, and the Josh Smith signing was a complete failure.

We need more offense, call up Canaan for Christ's sake. Roll with what we had at the beginning of the season when Jones gets back with the addition of Brewer.

    Harden/DMo
    Jones/DMo
    Ariza/Brewer
    Harden/Terry
    Beverley/Canaan

Bench Smith and limit Terry's minutes please.

Warriors are a completely different class than the Rockets and we are seeing how far we have to go to be contenders.

The Rockets definitely had a clear identity early in the season. Unfortunately, part of that successful identity included running James Harden into the ground, which was completely unsustainable... and probably not even sustainable if they decided to rest him in the regular season, then run him into the ground in the playoffs.

That identity is gone, and we look like last year now. We know what happened to last year's team.

No way are the Warriors elite if they didn't have Curry. Sorry.

Best thing about the game tonight was the half price pizza from Papa Johns...
Really though, this team has too many glaring holes to beat good teams that are coached well.
    - Beverly is not a starting caliber point guard. He cannot shoot consistently, he cannot finish at the basket. Anyone who thinks that he is a good defender has never had to play defense within a team. He continually is chasing his man after allowing him to get in front of him. The same way Harden defends. They are sloppy passers as a team and lack a system that forces them to stay in a scheme. We win a lot of games strictly because of individual talent. Until, we learn to play cohesively as a unit, great basketball minds will shred us.
