Don't think it'll be his last contract. I'm sure somewhere down the road that if this is all true(requiring Microfracture surgery) some contending team or bottom feeder would still sign him to play spot minutes.

So, is microfracture now Houston's curse?

    Please, save Jose Altuve, someone.

The rumors of the Rockets getting involved in the Brook Lopez talks wasn't about driving the price up for OKC but to get insurance for Dwight. I still believe that when T Jones comes back and with the progression of Capella, that the Rockets shut down Howard for a least a few weeks to see if more treatment makes it better.

Microfracture surgery has come along way and not all microfracture surgeries are created equal. Most people who need the surgery (like Clowney) can't get back without having the surgery where as Howard is still able to play.

People in our front office are of course worried he might need it because they have to have contingency plans in place in the event that happens. If the Yao and T-Mac injuries taught Morey and the front office anything, it is to have a plan for the worse. I wouldn't read anything more into the possibility of microfracture surgery other than the front office is acknowledging that potential reality and planning accordingly.

I can definitely see this happening! Morey LOVED him once before, and it would be a homecoming of sorts!

Yeah, I put it on there more for shock value. I just found it odd he mentioned Cuttino in both posts.

I've been racking my brain though. Joe Johnson was buds with JSmith in Atlanta. I know he's not currently happy with the Nets right now.

    Bad situation = Nets
Family is forever = Joe Joshnson
    ???

Capela time :D go ahead, Dwight get fixed whatever needs to be fixed, that way we can move on instead of hoping he will get healthy. We can't do anything after the deadline so we need to know now!!

The surgery I'm told is no biggie, but the rehab because you have to be non weight bearing for several months then strength and motion for another at least 9 months is the real killer for microfracture surgery.

Loved him, yeah, before the NBA changed the way it officiated Martin and cut his free throw attempts in half.

'favorite of all time' - reference to kanye west's infamous interruption of taylor swift

Kanye West is married to Kim Kardashian. Kim Kardashian used to be married to Kris Humphries.

Therefore we are getting Kris Humphries

    Splash?

Yup, and 2 yrs and $14M left on his contract sounds reasonable for a guy that's shooting over 40% behind the arc at 20 ppg.
