I am right about the same job as Dwight. Also a physical job. I currently have a knee that is sore, a pinched nerve in my back and gout in my toe.

Strap up and get us 20 and 10 sir.

Maybe we can trade him this summer to cleveland for Love and make a hard push for Marc Gasol.

All this means is that we get to sign him for the MLE on his next contract and he becomes the backup to someone better (DMO?) instead of the starter once he can only play 20 solid minutes a night.

Send him home after the GSW game for treatment. Bring him back for the Jan 28 game vs. Dallas. That gives the knee 7 days of rest. Then sit him at home for the road trip to Boston & Detroit. Come back for Feb 4 vs. Chicago. That's another 7 days of rest. Play out the stretch before the All Star Break. Sit him on the back to back at LAC. The he gets 9 days of rest until the 2nd half starts at Dallas. That's 23 rest days for his knee over the next month. He'll be fine by then.

That's the thing...it doesn't seem like they're worried about resting him. I'm not sure how the knee is getting better by playing. Perhaps he's been told it can't get any worse and he's just continuing to get platelet therapy.

We need a healthy howard if we want to go deep in the playoffs. We need howard and harden to be on their A game if we think we are going to get through the west. I don't mind sitting him for several games if that is what it takes to get him healthy. I've also noticed he isn't playing with the same athleticism as of late.

I would sit him some nights, especially when Jones comes back. We need him in the playoffs more than in the reg season.

DMo and Jones to start with Smoove coming off the bench to sit Dwight. Maybe even bring up Capella haha

I think this is the plan

Get Terrance Jones back and then Rest Dwight more

Jones needs to adjust his game to this new team and that means he needs to log alot of minutes so we can be deep in the playoffs

i've been waiting for an article that covers his knee. now its official that rockets wont have a 2nd option for most of this season. this is where they try dmo as the 2nd option.

Doesn't Dwight have a 15% trade kicker in his contract?

Need to find a way to rest Howard multiple games. Don't know if Jones coming back will help in the decision but the team needs to look in adding backup C to the mix. Dorsey is too small for the job.
