Yes he adds a lot to the team like making the offense stagnate. He also takes the ball out of James' hands during the break. He jacks up the most shots when he's in the game of anyone on the floor. When he's not doing those things he's giving sweet turnovers by jumping in the air with nowhere to go.

So yes, Smith contributes a lot to this team.

A decent record doesn't change the fact that we suffer from the same problems virtually every game.

Steve Kerr plays chess, while Mchale plays checkers.

he only shoots about 10 shots a game and the last 2 games he has shot 50 percent or better, he is taking most of his shots in the paint, which is what we want. He is shooting 42 percent with us, that is better than the 39 percent he put up at the Pistons

In all fairness, it's not easy to make juggling exciting.

This team's ball movement is absolutely atrocious. They need a D-Mo/Brewer type player at every position other than Harden and Howard constantly moving around without the ball and making the right pass/taking the right shot when they have the ball.

We should be up more. Good teams blow out bad teams.

Smith is trash. He's the LIN of 2015. His turnovers in passing. He gives; he takes.

I'm not ready to absolve the players of blame, though... they only play smart, effort-driven, focused, attention-to-detail basketball in spurts. McHale sitting guys who aren't playing well is a start, but their tendency to get comfortable/sloppy when they've built a relatively insignificant lead is concerning.

Um, yeah. They'd be up a lot more if they hadn't reverted to bad basketball after a good start.
