Klay Thompson can flat out ball, his defense is probably just as good as his offense.

I think Klay was playing with a chip on his shoulder against Harden last night. He was determined to shut down the best SG in the league to show that he was max-worthy.

can klay thompson create his own shot?

or is he just a ray allen (catch and shoot) with defense?

Klay is a really similar defender to Wes matthews.. who also gives harden fits

Bro....please go watch some YouTube. Ray Allen was wayyyy more than catch and shoot. He was a flat out scorer in Milwaukee And seattle

Ray was an olympian when it meant a lot. He was also a perennial all-star and was great driving the lane. Klay Thompson might barely be half of what Allen was back in his heyday.

I guess you enjoy series winning shots and Batum going off for 20 whenever he feels like it...Obviously Klay is better than Ariza but Parsons still is not a good defender.

Any ways, someone said that they think Klay was out to prove a point and I think that's what happened last night. He has never had good games against the Rockets and Harden has always won that matchup pretty easily. Hopefully this was just an aberration.

Even still it's obvious that the Warriors made the correct choice in keeping Thompson rather than trading him for Love. For this season at least.

He could do it all and he had no weakness to his game. If he played in a bigger market his early years his notoriety would be much greater.

You must never watch Ray Allen. Catch and shoot LOL. Dude was a BEAST offensively in his prime. Outside of a post game, he was as complete as one can get offensively.

Klay is slowly getting there offensively as he's diversifying his game this year, but he's nowhere close to Ray.

But Klay is easily one of the best 2-way players in the game. To shut down the best SG and dropped 27 points in just 31 minutes is absolutely impressive. Takes a ton of energy and focus to do that on both ends.
