I'll start acknowledging your posts as soon as you show me a thread where I "praise" McHale.

    First, don't curse at me!
Second, McHale rarely receives praise even after a blowout win.
Third, He is part to blame on the loss. The players were getting frustrated when the shots weren't falling. He can't obviously shoot the ball for them but it's part of his job to adjust and push his players. The defense also sucked!

McHale is a bad coach. Harden, Beverley, and Brewer missed a lot of shots. Why did McHale tell them to miss all those shots? That's the sign of a bad coach. Fire MCHale. We need a coach that will tell the players to MAKE shots not miss. Fire McHale.

No. You're completely missing the forest for the trees. Some of us who are upset aren't upset at the missed shots. We are upset at that lack of offensive ingenuity designed to get our players better shots. I'm sure you understand that there are good shots and bad shots. GSW were taking a lot of good shots off designed actions. Noticed how many floppy sets they ran for Thompson? And then PnR action for Speights and Lee? The Rockets did very little of that. As for the knee jerk irrational posters who complain but offer no examples or solutions? Ignore them.

Our offense does not look good. I don't know if that's the coaches fault, the players fault, or that we are missing a point guard.

But it's clear against good defenses our offense really stinks at times and that has been consistent throughout the season.

I have a feeling Kerr is a prodigy that might even dethrone the likes of Pop and Jackson.. He's miles ahead of McHale and that's a given even a moron could see.

seriously, Harden is God's grace to McHale. He's so good he really masks what a terrible offense this has been under Mchale. it is so simple for this team, if we make our 3s good chance we can win. we don't we lose. that simple. and it shouldn't be that simple.

enter any competent coach with good wings, like Kerr and the warriors, they're going to make sure they do their best to take away our 3s. then the body language starts looking poor, and we are getting beat down the floor for transition buckets and off rebs. rinse, repeat.all the while we may have the Best player in the league playing for us, so he's going to will a ton of Ws.

I still feel sick in my stomach when I think he just signed an extension

Bruh they have BIGS THAT CAN SHOOT howard, jones, Dmo, smith can't.....

Mchale can't run these plays until he gets players here that can do, every team in west has at least one big that can.... Morey doesn't want bigs that can shoot, last ones we had were PPAT and Morris and he shipped them out.

I can't keep telling you guys this enough, we can't run plays without bigs that are willing to set picks and shoot jumpers.. Any coach will figure us out even when another playmaker comes in !! We have to be hot from 3 every game in a 7 game series.

All trams do is rely on stars and pick and roll with ball movement. These coaches aren't doing nothing special.

Put another playmaker on this team and a C or PF that can shoot we will see a whole different offesnse. Until then hope harden can score 30 and our 3s fall from rotation players. Don't get Ya hopes up on a offensive system, we don't have the players !!!

If the front office got rid of McHale in the off season like they should have, Kerr would have probably picked Houston over Golden State. But would he have been a big enough name for Les? I'm starting to wonder. All of the coaching hires under Les have been big names (JVG, Adelman, McHale). I don't think he would have given Kerr a chance. A strong coach would also butt heads with Morey and his philosophy I truly believe. The front office really needs to start looking in the mirror when it comes to the shortcomings of this franchise.

What is this Kerr is the next Pop stuff? We should've just hired Gentry, who is doing the actual coaching stuff, and kept Bickerstaff.

    this ^^^

That's why I've been begging that Dwight develop a short midrange bankshot ala Tim Duncan's. Someone like Scola (years back) would have been perfect. Maybe DMo can still develop one ala Speights'. Or JSmith can improve his FG percentage.

I don't think Morey hates bigs who can shoot the midrange. Just that we needed to trade PPat and MMorris to see what DMo and TJones could give us.

All this talk about the offense. It was our defense that really let us down. We didn't get back on defense and golden state had layups all night.

Also, Golden State is just a better team. People around here seem to think we have the most talent in the league, and should never lose a game. The Rockets are a top ten team, but they aren't in the top three.

Plan was to install the post-game instead of the midrange pick and pop. Now we see it's better to have various options.
