Yeah, teams never make mid-season trades and win championships.

 

When you're not making shots, when you're turning the ball over, and when the calls aren't going your way there is always defense. The Rockets can't crap the bed on offense and then not play defense. Defense gets you back in grind it out games.

 

The Rockets will beat GSW in Oakland though. They won't get swept.

We just need a real point guard, that's it. Good PG with vision and can read the play. Beverley just doesn't have the brain and he's not smart, he never adjust his game, play the sameway everygame. I have to say it's really painful sometime wacthing him.

 

Mavs have still been pretty inconsistent. I'm just saying we are right there with the rest of the conference. The league is tough this year, the East is no longer a joke. Even their bad teams like Detroit, Orlando are playing hard and can catch a team sleeping and often have.

True, I was only talking about the West though. Hawks interesting, will be interesting to see how far that team goes in the playoffs.

 

Of course they do, but when you acquire someone - it is usually someone that you know fits the rest of the roster, right?

Anyway - doesn't matter - Rox need work - and a motivated Howard and Harden to play defense without that, we are just a paper tiger.

No kidding. Look, if once a month your team has no fire in a game, it happens. You write it off and move on. But when the coach is saying this after an embarrassing loss almost on a weekly basis, we have a problem. And it starts with him.

Did you not see the 2nd Memphis game? I guess not, I guess injuries are an excuse for every team not named the Rockets.

 

All of his post interviews are the same. No accountability for his coaching.

 

We need more variance on this team. Maybe call up Capela, Canaan, Johnson after the All-Star break

 

I am with you, Need a true PG and a true backup C that can block shots and rebound in traffic. The center must be at least 6'10" or above. Tired of the undersize Center.

Defensively, late first half did you feel you had them in control?

For a little bit in 2nd Q. Not getting back on D, simple mismatches where they cross-match, leaving the basket open. Then 3rd Q, they came out and scored 38 points. We had nothing for them. So disappointing. Had a little momentum in 2nd Q but even in 1st Q, we couldn't get any stops. 3rd Q was ridiculous. Couldn't get stops, turned it over, lost all of our...we had no fire, no nothing.

Trying to go down with D-Mo and Howard?

We wanted to get it inside and make them pay for going small. Green is a smallish 4 man, wanted to get it into Dwight. Dwight and D-Mo were positives [on a really bad night].

One of those nights. We didn't get much early. He had some good looks. Mostly one of those nights. He's been playing great, carrying us. We gotta withstand an off-shooting night from James once in awhile because it's gonna happen. It was our lapses on defense and lack of getting back, simple basic plays that tonight we didn't make nearly enough of. They switch a lot and have athletes out there. We didn't get the ball on the floor and attack.

They kicked our tail and should want another shot at them.
