The million dollar question remains, where is Canaan? I think putting a Canaan and D Mo alongside Harden Ariza and Dwight/Brewer if we go small will spark the offense when it stalls which usually happens in quarter 2 and 3.
Well this is how the playoffs will be. We are getting blown the F out at home on a team that is on a tough back to back. Kerr running circles around the clueless clown that is McHale. GSW running plays to get easy looks while the Rockets look pathetic on offense and even worse on defense.
I hope y'all enjoyed that month or two of great defense at the start of the season as much as I did. It has been MIA for a while now.
This is on the front office. Like I said in game thread. Rox should have let McHale go and hired a coach like Kerr. I'm kind of glad the Rox are getting their asses handed to them tonight. Les coming out saying getting out of the first round is not important, extending McHale, etc., they deserve this ass kicking.
This is what happens when you face an equally talented team with a good coach and your coach is one of these roll the ball out and let them play type guys. The Warriors have taken away just about everything the Rockets want to do, no adjustment. Now we have Joey Dorsey posting up and shooting free throws. McHale's adjustments are "play harder" and "stay in front of your guy".
Notice how many sets GSW run for Curry and Thompson getting them open lanes to the basket. All of the wings on GSW are constantly moving making it very difficult for defense to key in on them. I would give a lot of the credit to Kerr and the forgotten architect Alvin Gentry. Last season GSW played a lot of ISO ball under Jackson. Notice the difference?? Our offense is so reliant on Harden to make things happen. We rarely run sets for him to get him easy looks. Harden is best moving to the rim. Let's run some sets to get him a full head of steam to the rim.
The Rockets are always late to the party... The hawks and warriors fired their coaches for not advancing their talented rosters to their potential... Meanwhile Les is content with 50 win 1st round exits

Exactly. This is basically the same Golden State team as ladt yr but you see the difference in coaching.
It's not just this game. A lot of people, including myself have been saying how bad Mchale is as a coach for years now. We just play a dumb predictable style of basketball.
