Honestly, it doesn't matter what any of us think. His values as a player will be determined by the free market. After this season, those with all the knowledge, both basic and with analytic techniques (like Morey) will make this determination. Any guesses?
Looking at the box score, Lin gets to start thanks to a Price injury and is absolutely stinking it up so far. Can't even use Kobe being there as an excuse. Dude has some serious mental issues along with a very limited ability.
http://espn.go.com/blog/los-angeles-lakers/post/_/id/40835/the-lakers-odd-couple Lol, did anyone see this? Exchanges between Nick Young and Jeremy Lin at some panel. My favorite -- Young on Kobe: "He has no filter. He just talks and talks and talks." Lin: "That's ironic." Young: "What?" Lin: "Nothing. Keep going."
I'm convinced 95% of Lin's problems in the NBA are mental. I think he has talent but the guy is so soft between the ears it isn't funny. Other times his mind doesn't seem to be all there.
Jeremy Lin given the opportunity to start and allowed to play 30 minutes. His numbers? 3-10 from the field. As a point guard, 3 assists and 3 turnovers for a pitiful 1:1 assist to turnover ratio. Worst stats on the team and worse than the bench players Young/Black/Boozer. As I said earlier, Lin is a the 4th best bench player on the Lakers at best. And that is only because their rookie is injured for the year. Kobe did not play so folks cant use the "Kobe holds him back excuse". Bottom line? He was free to get his numbers and stunk it up. Let's mix things up and hear some other excuses from his apologists for a change. In before snoopy cites his one good game from more than a week ago. *ROAR* *ROAR*

Wow... Byron Scott basically called Lin a p***y. You can't disrespect your own player much more than that. That's incredible. Maybe God will step in and put Byron Scott on notice.
Byron Scott is clearly a racist and holding back Lin. Lin would be an allstar if it wasn't for him...
lol at Lin saying "hassle". he talks how he acts- like an old granny. easy to see why all his coaches end up throwing him and his passive aggressive behavior out to the media. just doesn't have the talent to cut it with that mentality.
Billy Ocean once told us of what tough people do <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/lIxUKbV0UEM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> (LOFs, this is real music with real soul)
