See and talk are two different things. And besides, talking about LOHs has a great relevance to Lin. After all, the LOHs are closer to Lin than the rest of us.
LOH is not even a real term. It's not a clutchfan approved term, it's a term created by those who can't stand any criticism of Jeremy Lin's basketball play.
When Lin was on Rocket team, it's not a real term, but it became real after Lin was traded. How else do you explain a bunch of "Rocket fans" to trash talk an ex-Rocket on a Rocket forum?
I watched some of that Lakers game last night and Lin did not look good. If he were on the current Rockets team, even with a clean slate, I doubt he would get minutes.
Can anybody check if there were any posts in this thread on January 9th 2015 aka last week? When Jeremy Lin had 18 pts 3 rebs 6 assists 4 steals 2 blocks in 29 mins? http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/4299/jeremy-lin This thread was buried in the 2nd page. I thought we were finally letting this thread die, that was naive of me lol. Where were these LOH then? ROFLLLL
If Jeremy was given Price's minutes the previous 10 games or so, he would have scored 15pts-18pts per game, easily. Looks like at least offensively he is getting more consistent. BS obviously determined that as long as Kobe is on the court, nobody should handle the ball other than him, and Price is the right fit, which is understandable. Lakers are not playing for wins, but trying to tank and celebrating Kobe's final two years.
OF was first designated when Yao Only Fans descended to Clutchfans. A great example of this is when Yao got a haircut, someone made a thread about it. Following Yao was Tracy McGrady. You know this story. Surprising the only other player to bring fans here solely to spew idol worship is the guy we are talking about in the subject. Neither YOF or TOF caved in so quickly to criticism and created a term called LOH. They just argued their points valid or not. Lin fans couldn't argue at all, that's why they call anything that doesn't praise Lin as "hating" .
Ever hear of Occam's Razor? A lot of science is based on this principle, that the simplest solution is the best one. Which sounds like the simplest, most obvious scenario? A: There is a league wide conspiracy to hold this one Asian guy down. Despite every team wanting to win, every team he goes to, he gets benched in favor of another player. The coach and other players are all jealous of his talent, which no one but fans can see. When he leaves, the team wins more, which means the opposing team is in on making the team look better. B: He sucks
PTSD. Relentlessly, wave after wave of LOF landed here and long time CFers have been left shell shocked. Healing is a process that will take some time. This thread offers a kind of gestalt therapy, not unlike yelling at a chair or bashing cushions.
Cmon guys. 1/3 of the world's population is Chinese, Japanese, Filipino etc. This thread will never die. Just wish they could have higher aspirations than trying to hype a CBA player
Not every Asian supports Lin blindly. Its typically the ultra nationalist non-US born ones. The Asian-Americans here are for the most part indifferent now that he's kind of fallen off a bit. Before Lin it was "Hey Yao, we need a 5th, wanna play?" Now its "Hey Lin..." My fellow Asian baller community brethren need to right this wrong.
You know how I know that a player is just not cutting it? When his fans have to google and point to a specific game, about a week in the past, where he did not suck.
