I've wanted to play this ever since I saw it on Parks and Rec. Probably will suck bad at it.

 

I bought the 6 person expansion a few month back hoping a friend would bring his kids over to play but alas it's still sitting on the shelf unopened.

 

I prefer Cones of Dunshire

I'm pretty good at this game, as in I usually win or come in second with 4+ players.

The key to this game is being ultra aggressive in trade and purchases. The more you buy stuff faster than anyone else early, the more chance you build up an advantage and win. The longer a resource card stay in your hand unused, the more you are likely to lose. So trade, trade and keep trading until you can build the next asset. Don't ever wait passively to get the right cards to come.

You know who would win this game every time? Daryl Morey. He runs the rockets like a great Settlers of Catan player.

It's a board game where people have to screw each other over and eventually get someone to rage quit

 

Yeah i don't see how they can make a TV show or movie out of this..

The storyline would just be a bunch of farming, mining, and road building

 

Are you saying that you wouldn't be interested in seeing the inner workings of a two wool for one brick trade?
