Nicely done! In over 30 years of watching the NBA I don't think I have ever seen so many banked in three's...but hey, if the bank is open we'll take it.

Curry will win. He doesn't deserve it, but he'll win.

Why is that Harden-hater Aldridge interviewing Harden at the end?

Harden on pace for a 50-40-90 season as his recent performances show on very high volume.

Truly MVP. We better beat GSW record or it will be unjustice to see Curry win it.

It's sad that the MVP doesn't usually go to the player that is most deserving but to the best player on the best team. Edited to add...The question the voters should ask themselves is what would the Rockets be without Harden.

You could ask the same question about Warriors and Curry.

Both Curry & Rodgers will win it...

With the two James' sitting on the worse place of the podium...

Anybody have a count of how many near-triple-doubles Harden has had this season? It feels like a lot.

If he hadn't requested whole quarters at times or been so unselfish on the court, I'm guessing he'd probably have 6-8 of them by now.

Does nobody in this thread realize how good of a season Curry is having?

I'm all for Harden winning it but everyone here saying "it's not debatable, right?" or "I can't believe Curry might win it he's so undeserving" sounds like they haven't even seen what he's doing.

I think Harden should win it, but I don't expect him to and it wouldn't be some injustice if he doesn't (as of today).

Agree with this (as of today). People need to stop saying Curry is undeserving. But, man, these "Harden since Brewer trade" stats are off the charts. He's on pace to win a second POTM award, and surpass all Curry's advanced stats very quickly.

Too bad we had that trap game, 4th Q collapse against ORL, or we'd have the best Road record in the NBA.

We need to beat GSW. Let's establish DMo early to destroy Draymond Green, or whoever they put on him. They have no real PF.

Actually, no. Did you mean Curry?

    Curry is currently at 50-40-90.

Yeah, unfortunately Clutchfans is going to have to come to grips with the fact that Steph Curry is a very deserving MVP candidate who likely will win MVP unless the Rockets run away with a top 2 seed.

I'd still vote for Harden myself, but the national media simply will not if the two teams' records continue on their current trajectory.

We play the Warriors to of the next 3. If James wants to make an mvp impression those games would be the time to do it. Gotta win em though.

If the Rockets can finish in the top 2 and the Warriors come back down to earth just a little(i.e. not finish with 65+ wins), Harden has a good shot at MVP. Otherwise it probably does go to Curry. The Hawks are an amazing story, but I don't know if one player alone stands out enough on that roster to get the award.

Certainly a tough decision for the voters this year. Both players are very deserving.

Mike Budenholzer would get my vote (if I had one) for COY.

Yeah, our road record is great. Also, our conference record is great despite our injuries. POR and DAL have played the fewest conference games of any West team. Once their schedules even out, they will fall.

Smoove should be a factor as well. Warriors have yet to see Dwight this season and both games were tight thru 42 minutes.... now they face Howard + Smith. Oh my!

Unintentional implication that Curry isn't deserving. I really meant over history and not just the NBA. He is certainly deserving this year and he happens to be on the best team (record wise).

Him or Kerr. McHale would have to get the Rockets to 60+ wins to get into the conversation with the way the Hawks and Warriors are playing.
