All he did was say vaginas were beautiful.... Isn't that what feminists want to hear? Should he have said they look like spider mouths and scare the crap out of him?
The joke can be interpreted in two ways. One makes him look kind of sleazy, that if he was a gynecologist he could never get sick of the job because he gets to look at women's vaginas all day. Its not so much a sexist comment -- just juvenile. The other way to interpret it is that he won't get sick of vaginas just because he's a gynecologist -- which is a totally unoffensive statement.
There is a 0% chance he meant it in the first way. Honesty i dont see how anyone can interpret it that way.
I see the tweet, chuckle, and move on. In my opinion it's not a big deal. Then I see the reactions and I lol. People need to get a grip. This joke is no worse than what gets played on the radio and shown on tv.
Is this going to be another Dr. Taylor situation? Morey has always been a family first guy who is all class by just about all accounts. Spoiler
While I personally found his tweet amusing...the bottom line is that the tweet was inappropriate (regardless of context or intent) and Morey should know better. I'd imagine the NBA front office may scold him as they are very image-conscious. Morey has always struck me as a bit of a loose cannon. There's a reason why most coaches, GMs, execs and owners in pro and college sports are cautious with social media. However, there's no need for people to get all pissed off over this, either. Morey had a lapse in judgment, it happens, get over it and move on.
Right, so it can be interpreted either way. If someone says he doesn't wash his hand all the time after using the restroom, are you going to shake his hand? He didn't say he didn't wash his hand that day. Agree, it was dumb. I think there were more people shaking their head saying "Morey, what were you thinking?" then being pissed.
That aren't funny. Because it's a joke. It might be hard for someone without a sense of humor to understand that, granted.

I think I’m going to stick with my GM job.”
I'm sure he did, but male OBGYN's have to deal with #1 because a lot of other people do interpret it that way. Morey has enough common sense to know this and therefore should have known it would offend people. And well, there's always the fact that he's REFERRING TO VAGINAS while conducting a Q & A as a GM of a pro team. It's just not professional and it wouldn't be, whether you're the president or a manager at a bank.
