They're now 23rd in the league in points they give up per game. They give up 102.5/game.

Rockets are up to 2nd in the league in that category, now. Tied with Atlanta, they give up 96.9 ppg.

Parsons is certainly a better shooter. A better offensive threat, generally.

But I'm not sure we'd be playing as well defensively if you replaced Ariza with Parsons.

    At twice the price?

Not sure we'd be able to get Brewer and Smith with that contract

at half the price, i'd take ariza every day.

if parsons is in a slump, he is ineffective on all facets of the game.

trev struggled badly shooting, but his impact is so huge.

good to see that ariza's shot is coming back slowly. i have hope that he'll catch fire in the playoffs.

What Seattle is about to do to Green Bay is what will happen to the Mavs if they meet the Grizz in a 7-game series: not pretty. All about that depth, physicality, and nastiness

    LOL @ Clutch's tweet.

It appears things are getting testy in Dallas. Mavs have a good record, but they've lost three out of four, and were lucky to win against the Kings in overtime.

Looks like the honeymoon is over for Parsons as the fans are now thinking he's not worth his contract. Also there seems to be some tension between some of the players, usually involving Rondo.

I hear people saying the Mavs are strong contenders. But, to me they seems like the team most likely to implode.

I am still waiting to see how the Rondo trade transpires. From the early going, it seems that of all the starters, only Parsons' shots and points have been reduced after the trade.

absolutely. I was/am a big Parsons fan but his cost was just too much for his output. He should have swallowed his pride and stayed in Houston for less money. He would have gone further. (imho)

I don't have a link. I was reading some of the Mavs message boards, and they were talking about their general displeasure with Parsons performance. They were also talking about things that were happening during games between players that indicated that everyone wasn't on the same page. It seems that Rondo gets frustrated and is impatient with some of his new teammates.

Everything will probably be fine if they go on a winning streak. But right now things seem to be rather tense. This is just my impression after reading numerous comments from the fans who have been watching the games.
