D-mo Needs to shoot more Dwight needs to post up less Josh Smith kills any chance of us winning if he takes all those long jumpers
Are y'all really missing the part where Denver has won 5 in a row & Dallas rested 3 of their starters on the 2nd half of a B2B? Trying to compare their loss tonight to ours is a suuuuuper reach.
Just saw the box score didn't realize they didn't play. Still not concerned Chicago just got beat by Orlando as well. People blow losses WAY out of proportion

Men no big deal. This part of the season is the grind or the dead part of the season, people just play games which don't have any impact overall. Maybe it can affect the seeding but at the end of the day considering the NBA plays 7 games per series home court don't mean much. If you look at the Spurs this is when they play like fish out of water and get abused left and right. What'll really matter is the last few games prior to the playoffs, that's when you'all see whether a team has what it takes. My only take aways from this game are Dwight really is just coasting, he can turn it up when its needed and that the Rox are trying to showcase shaved in a trade. He's playing like crap though unfortunately.
Agreed Alfrid was dominating bev, preventing the inbounds, rockets taking 6 seconds to bring it past have court, and yet NO ADJUSTMENTS. Just made bev struggle, why not bring 3 players up and help out. Rockets need to push like Orlando did, wow. Once the ball missed or went in, that first pass is to pretty much half court and they off and running before our defense is set.
Alexy scored points, passed and made a few assists so not sure what the negativity around him is about considering he's been injured with not much playing time or practice in with the team. Dude is tall and lanky versus short like Beverly. I like Beverly but his court vision isn't the best. Seems like Alexy at least has that much which can make a difference when he's on the court. We don't need a great PG just one that can offset Beverly's weaknesses that can play smart
I read somewhere recently that the team with home court wins a large majority of series played. So it kind of IS important. Having said that, I agree with ya! Even after a dud loss, we still HAVE home court, we're approaching a bit of a rough stretch, and it is mildly understandable that some players had an 'off' night. Happens to everyone (hence we have home court and aren't dead last in the standings...) I had budgeted us to only win 3 of the next 5 games (and call it 'doing well). If we win 3 of 5, I'd consider that a pass when combined with todays loss. Winning 4 of 5 puts us back in 'very happy' territory
Bev looked horrible today, that dude with the funny hair was just driving into our paint all game long. Yet, he was locking down our PG's and forcing them to carry the ball for over 15 seconds into the play clock. Oh boy do we need some upgrades here.
Did you watch the game (or even check the box score)? Bev was a wreck defensively, but he shot 64% from the field tonight -- like, the opposite of a bricklaying performance. Shved, OTOH, went 1 for 5 and is shooting 22% in his time here. The longer the season goes on, the more I think Bev is not the answer. But I sure as hell don't see anything suggesting Shved is, either.
It's only the 2nd game back for Alexy. Alexy scored 6 points total +6 differential..made good passes. I wanna see how he plays overtime. Maybe that's why Bev is scoring because this guy gonna get playing time and he knows it. Alexy has court vision which Beverly doesn't have
